1 WEEK POST OP!
so I’m finally 1 week post op and oh my god I feel amazing. I’m in no pain what so ever, I still can’t do big movements with my arms and it hurts to lift them up and when I try to pull myself out of bed but apart from that I feel back to myself! Best part about today was I checked my nipple on my left breast which had the complication and it looks unbelievable just like Dr Plovier said it would! Looks the same as the other and the swellings gone down! I’m finally going to upload some pics I took of them today. Please be aware the scars are still really visible and everything that looks scary now will fade. I was abit worried about the size of them at first thinking I’d gone too small but from these photos you can see he’s chosen implants which fit my frame perfectly! Any questions please message me ????
3 days post op. IM HOME
Ok so I didn’t get a chance to update you guys sooner as it’s been pretty hectic. 7am on Monday I made my way down to BeClinic and Dr Plovier was sat at reception with Valerie (head of patient care) ready for my arrival. For me this was sooo nice to see the surgeon there on my arrival as I’ve not experienced this before. He welcomed me in, I signed all documents, paid the remainder of the money owed and then I went straight upstairs to my bedroom. The rooms are so lovely and modern, you have a TV with English channels, private bathroom and a set of ‘beclinic’ slippers and gown to change into. I got changed and within 10 minutes Dr Plovier came up to speak to me and measure me up. I had not had a consultation with him previously so this was the first conversation. As soon as I got undressed he knew what I needed and wanted. He spent a good 10/15 mins drawing on me and answered every question I fired at him. He asked what size I’d like to go to and I said from FF to D/DD. I asked about CC’s and he told me this isn’t something I would be picking but something he would as he would remove however much of my own breast he could then replace with whatever size implant would fit in my body and also suit my body shape. This I liked as I had no idea what CC I wanted?? I felt very reassured the whole time and before I knew it I was on the operating table.
I think I was in surgery for 3-4 hours. I remember waking up around 2pm very dazed and in a great deal of pain. The nurses came straight to me and gave me a ton of painkillers and I mentioned I was overheating and they sprayed me with the water mist in a can. They were very prepared for everything. Girls of course I don’t want to scare you but this was honestly the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. But the nurses are so so fantastic and everything you need they will get you. I was in the hospital until around 7pm that night so was in for 12 hours in total before I felt fine enough to go back to the hotel. Top tip try sleep with as many pillows as possible. I slept with 2 big ones for the first night and woke up stuck lying down and stiff. Was horrible. Take all painkillers when you should be (they give you a table of what to take at what time).
I went back to the clinic on Tuesday morning. This is the day I was SUPPOSED to be leaving Belgium.. During my surgery my right nipple suffered a complication which meant that the blood was basically not following and leaving my nipple and was all just built up inside me. Dr Plovier explained to me that he has dealt with this twice in nearly 20 years. So you can imagine how rare it is. I was so gutted this happened to me as it wasn’t the prettiest thing to see and I wanted to go through this with no complications like anyone would. To solve this problem I had to have live medical leeches suck the blood from my nipple 3 times and also wear a bandage with a vacuum pack attached to it which was just an artificial leech. Definitely one of the worst things I’ve had to go through but it’s now day 3 and my nipple is looking so much better and is on the mend. This hasn’t scared me from surgery or ever going back to Dr Plovier because everyone’s bodies are different and we all have our own health issues. With what happened to me Dr Plovier said this usually happens to people with bad health or someone that smokes. I don’t smoke and have good health and it still happened to me so you can’t predict these things! Because of all this happening it meant I actually had to stay in Brussels for an extra night and day which was a hassle as I had trains and Eurostar’s prebooked and it cost me £450 to change tickets and get a hotel for the night so if I could say one thing it’s maybe give yourself enough time. I listened to everyone else who’s only needed to stay 1 night but this cost me more in the long run.
End result Dr Plovier removed 700g of my own breast, lifted them and I had 430CC implants inserted. They’re only 3 days old and I’m IN LOVE!! They suit my body shape so much, they’re the right size and the perkiness is unbelievable. Of course they’ll change overtime but all in all I’m over the moon and even with all the [RS bleep] that’s come with it it’s been worth it and is the best decision I ever made.
Girls when my boobs are looking a little less bloody I will upload some photos for you as I understand this is the easiest way to help make decisions on where to go and who to go with but take my word for it that you won’t be disappointed ????

Brest reduction with uplift and implants with Dr.Plovier at BeClinic, Brussels, Belgium
So I thought I’d start up a review as this site has helped me loads in helping make my decision to actually go with Dr.Plovier for my surgery and with all the before and after photos so I’m going to do the same. I have been researching surgeons and clinics for the last 2 years to perform my surgery as for me it’s abit more complex than just a boob job. I’m 21 years old, 5’1, a size 10 in all clothing with 34FF boobs. I’ve had big boobs since the age of 15 and have always hated the size. After seeing the amazing B/A pics I have chosen Frank to perform my surgery and I managed to get a slot on the 1st October! So it’s only 18 days until I go under the knife and I’m so excited! I have been quoted £4500 for reduction, uplift and implants. I chose to not go go for one of their all inclusive packages as the cheapest one starts at £310 for one night stay, medication & taxis. I booked the same hotel for 1 night which cost me £174 and the medication on its own will be £50. Thinking about it now it probably would have been better to go for their package. But I’ll see how much I can get the taxis for. Can anyone else who has been before advise roughly on taxi costs??
I also need some advise on the best way to pay the remainder of the cost. I’ve already paid £1k deposit. Is it best to pay on debit card on the day? I know they use the exchange rate at whatever it is that day though. I don’t want to end up paying lots more. Debating wether to take it in cash and pay that way. Let me know what you did/are planning to do!
I am getting the Eurostar on Sunday 30th and returning on 2nd October in the morning.
I’ll update you when I arrive in Brussels!
