Day 3 1/2. Wow has this been a long 3 days. Here is a synopsis of my past few days. Day 1 hurt like hell. Can't move arms, chest feels tight and heavy, underarm boob hurts, can't sit up, can't lay flat, hard to sleep. Whoa but you survive. Day 2 nausea, headaches, dizziness and everything from day 1 but stepped down a notch. For me I was done with Narcotics. Hate the woozy, nauseated feeling. Aleve and tylenol will do. By day 3 arm mobility improves, sitting up without assistance much easier, and even able to go to walmart. Intermittent sharp pains but more predictable, and occ spasm. My advise be clear to your support team about what you will need. 1. 3 nutritious meals a day, as well as nutritious snacks (each time I take pain meds you will need a snack). 2. Help Getting in and out bed 2 days, help with showers 3. Emotional support when you say "why the he'll did I inflict this pain in myself. 4. Remind your team that this is NOT the time for stories about people with implants that they don't like. You are emotional and may take it personally 5. There is No need to discuss your future workout routines as again you may take this personally. I am moving forward but I do think better planning for everyone would have made this a bit easier. Btw I loved shopping. I know I will be so happy soon.

My surgery was 330 yesterday. Check in smooth, walking into OR smooth and then lights out for me. After the most uncomfortable part was the swelling that extended under my arm. This made me keep my arm abducted which then resulted in a severe muscle spasm. I almost called but I didn't. My husband massaged the area and I took a Xanax and I was able to relax. Mini meltdown just because I unrealistically thought I would be able do most things myself. Silly me. No inscion pain at all. A tightness and heavy crushing pressure on my chest. So far I am more than pleased.

Hello. Congrats on your surgery. Relax,,,,and heal. This is an amazing experience. You will be so happy!! Keep us posted on your progress. :)
Thank you. I think relaxing was key. I was so focused on what I could not do. Day 2. I see Improvement.
Awesome. Your results look great. How are things now? Dr. Swanson is my doctor too. Very pleased with him and don't regret a thing. I'm now starting my research on having my breast done.

Black woman needs boobs and bust!
I researched for 2 years to find a ps with extensive experience, owned their surgery center, had great bedside manner, and particularly, did not appear to be Bias to silicone, which was not an option to me.
At 17 I begin having children and with each child lost a cup size. What I was left with was 2 pendulum that would never stay put. I was on the fence for years because the thought of a foreign body inside my body was terrifying but finally I decided the scars and the risks were worth the benefit. So here I go.
