My journey started 15 plus years ago when I found out that I was pregnant. While pregnant I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I was gaining weight at a rapid pace even while eating healthy food. I stayed heavy for s large time after giving birth, in fact I only lost the 8 lbs he weighed when I left the hospital. After 6 years of being over weight and depressed with how I looked, I decided to take control of my weight. So I followed Herbalife, and exercised daily until I went from 225 to 134. I was left with sagging skin and a sagging chest. I maintained my weight-loss for 2 years before I had a tummy tuck done. That was six years ago. I have been researching implants and wanted them over the six years but did not want to pay for the full surgical procedure at the same time. This summer I decided to get them done. I did not know I was going to need a lift initially, however I should have as I had long boobs. None the less I went to see Dr. Gill, he was very professional and explained what I would need to have done and how he would do the procedures. I felt comfortable and scheduled my surgery.

I am only 3 days post op so when you see Frankenboob don’t freak out as this is a part of the process. I am impressed that my breasts are no longer getting tucked into my pants or dragging across the cement????. Though I am fine with the process of my healing breast I hate being listed. I am bloated and up 14lbs on the scale I drink plenty of water, am off pain pills, take laxatives, and everything else the Doctor and his staff have advised me to do. Yet I am still bloated and that is what is uncomfortable! So I will be back to let you know when swelling goes down.

Thanks for sharing your story! And congrats on your surgery! From what I can see it looks like you will have a very nice result. I also had a BL/BA, so the “Frankenboob” doesn’t “freak” me out. Lol Been there. As for the bloated feeling... have you had a BM yet? I found a high-fiber cereal such as Kashi go-lean (the “Original” version with 13 g of fiber per serving) was more effective than the laxatives I took. Do you mind sharing what type/size implants you went with? Any other details you have to share would be interesting to know. Wishing you a smooth healing… :-)

I finally was able to yes, still feel bloated. But I am only three days out so I assume this is normal. I went with the gummy bear silicone round smooth implants, 385cc. I have a very broad rib cage and shoulders so I wasn’t going for a huge chest I was going for.normal. When did you have your procedure done?

Day 6: I feel way better today. Let me say start out by saying I haven’t felt horrible through this process. The worst pain I felt was the day after surgery. He pain wasn’t all in my chest, in fact it was in my torso as I was bloated all around. I am not a large girl. I am 5’7 and weighed 134 before surgery. I had a tummy tuck six years ago as mentioned before after weight loss, however anytime I retain water my abs hurt;) I also had buyers remorse for like 10 minutes. Not because I didn’t like them but because I have worked my butt off to maintain the weight loss of years before and in one day I was up 14lbs. Now, I knew I would bloat but this really bothered me. Today I am down 7 lbs and hope to drop the other 7 soon. Tomorrow I go to my 1 week post op tomorrow and will see the PS then as of now I feel everything is healing correctly. I have been kinda lazy and just been hanging around. Which is hard for me since I have so much energy!!!! I will let you know what the doc says tomorrow but here are updated pics of frankenboobs.
