4 week update
The tape finally fell off so I figured I would update. Still no real pain, a few twinges here and there, nothing to be worried about. lots of itching!!! i think the only thing that is a little bothersome is how my posture is worse than before with shoulders curving in so I’m really focusing on standing straight with shoulders back.
I am very impressed with my scarring so far, it looks even better in person than in the pics. Dr. Chong is amazing! My right is slower to drop but both are making progress.
Some stats for you all :)
pre op:band 30.5” bust 34” wore 34b usually
1 week in: band 30.5” bust 37.75”
4 weeks in: band 30.5” bust 37.25”
I am hoping that means all the swelling has subsided. Time will tell.
that puts me around a 32DDD I’m still in the surgical bra and they are not settled in yet so this is just for tracking purposes. My weight is the same as pre op fluctuating between 145-147.
I don’t think they look big. I am tall and have hips and a bit of a mom pouch belly so I think it would take a Lot to have a large looking chest. I did try on a supportive sz medium under armour sports bra that was without a clasp. It was almost impossible to get over the boobs, and when I did I had the panic moment in the change room that I would have to cut myself out of there but got it off with my daughters help.... didn’t try on anything else after that lol... I think large will work for me where before I was always small or medium.
Some days I have a bit of the boob greed and think maybe I should have done the 500cc but then other days I’m really happy with them not being any bigger than they are. They are how they looked in the 350cc sizers, just a bit higher for now but very close in size. Dr. Chong said he needed to add 100cc to get the same look as the sizers because I would lose a bit of my tissue with the lift and they look smaller under the muscle and he was spot on. They fill out my clothes but are not huge attention grabbers which is what I wanted. I think in clothes they don’t look big enough for people to think they are fake but in a bathing suit or something low cut it is obvious they aren’t real due to their too good to be true shape. This is what I was going for and what I got. Dr. Chong suggested to go with the sizer you like with your clothes on because this is the way you are in the world most of the time. I think that is really good advice and if you are having trouble deciding just look at the sizers in a few different outfits and don’t be afraid to go back to try the sizes out again. Don’t worry about the numbers just go with what sizer you like the best and leave up to you doctor to choose the implant size needed to get the look you choose. I chose my size based on wearing a bikini because we do spend a lot of time at the lake and I’m not the kind of girl who wants everyone staring at my boobs all the time like I notice with a lot of girls I have seen with implants. The 400 cc sizers (500cc implants) were a little more noticeable in clothes but I felt a bit too noticeable in a bikini for my liking. That’s how I chose, at the end of the day the 50cc difference is about 1/4” projection which in this size range really would not have made a very significant difference either way. Dr.chong gave me a choice between 400-500 cc implants and I went in the middle and am very happy with them I think with this size I have the ability to dress them up or down which is what I wanted.

4 days post op update
So far the boobs look about the same, no noticeable changes. The first day I didn’t take the pain meds after the first dose because I thought they were making me feel woozy but I think That was the anesthesia. By night time I was pretty uncomfortable so took them again and I’m sure that helped me get some rest. The most pain so far has been in my back. I took the pain meds during day 2-3 and that was much better. I found sleeping in almost sitting position with 3 pillows and a neck pillow has been the most comfortable for my back. I never sleep on my back normally so that has been a bit of a struggle. Day 4 I am off the pain meds and feeling pretty good. There is tightness, and muscle cramps/soreness in my chest, shoulders underarm area and into my back but not bad enough to take the tramadol. I’ll probably take it at bedtime just so I get a good night sleep. I did start cbd oil and I am hoping that will help with inflammation and fast recovery. I took stool softener last night but still no action so I’m hoping it will work for me later on today or tomorrow. I am quite bloated, not much of an appetite yet and stomach gurgling lots whenever I eat or drink. Also I have a bit of a cough and thick phlegm coming out... I hope that doesn’t put any tension on the stitches when I cough. I’ve pretty much lost my voice not sure if I’m sick or that is from be breathing tube during surgery? Also having the chills a bit off and on. I was sick a few days before surgery so maybe I just am sick still.... There is a bit of leakage from the incisions so my husband washed my bra for me when he gave me a shower on day 2. One side is still leaking enough to make the bra stick to the area so today I’ll have another shower and wash the bra again. Maybe it would be smart to have 2 bras so it’s easier to change more often for a clean one. So far really happy, but bored and sick of sitting around and it’s a bit hard not being able to do all the things I normally do to take care of my husband and kids.
Day 1 post op
I got mentor high profile implants, 450cc. During the sizing appointment the doctor put out sizers between 325-400cc I tried them on and at first thought I should go with the look of the 400, when the doctor said he would need to put in 500cc to get the look of that I kinda freaked out. I signed off on it but a few days later called and asked to change to 450cc I want more of a natural look not a huge chest that everyone is always staring at. I hope I made the right choice to go smaller, I hear that the boob greed is a real thing. Surgery was fast and the doctor said it went really well. I was very sick after waking up from the anesthesia and after about 6 hours of throwing up I went to the er for an iv and get some fluids and meds in me because I couldn’t keep anything down. I was so tired and out of it from the anesthesia that it didn’t really bother me that much. Pain has been not too bad. I think my back is more sore than my boobs. I’m taking antibiotics 4 times a day and have been doing a mix of the tremadol pain med at night and Tylenol during the day. Here is my 1 day post op pic. Riding high!!
