I was unsure if I was going to select “yes“ for whether it was worth it or “not sure“ because I’m still very early in the healing days. So far, I am very pleased. My only concern is how high my left boob is currently sitting. My right boob is taking on more of an oblong shape, while my left is very round and seems to be fuller. I’m hoping that is just part of the healing process. I am sure it is based off what I’ve been told/what I’ve read, but I’m a worrier! I also did have a bit of asymmetry before so I expect to some degree after as well.

Today is day five post op.. I wish I took some better “before“ pictures, but I never think of this stuff while I’m in the throws of preparation. From start to finish Dr. Green’s staff was amazing, I truly can’t say enough good things. I was extremely nervous and he sat with me until my anxiety went away. The anesthesiologist had me rolling laughing right up until I was put to sleep, and the nurses were all very attentive. I woke up two hours later and they all told me “you’re going to be very pleased with your results”. The before and after shocking, I still can’t believe that these get to be mine! I had huge boobs while I was breast-feeding (breast fed 4 children), I got all the way up to a D cup, but I am naturally a small framed woman and once I lost all the weight- my boobs went with them. I always shrimp back down to a very small B. I will keep you guys updated on the progression. I can say with complete confidence that if your saggy boobs drive you crazy like they did me, you won’t regret this decision!

I am still in the throws of the early healing days- so the picture that it’s titled “five days postop“ is what they look like currently. My left is still a bit high and it seems rounder and fuller, but when I mentioned it to my surgeon he didn’t seem concerned at all. He said not even to get worry about that stuff until around the three month timeline- and even then it can take up to six months to really understand what shape your breasts are taking. I am wearing a strap to help move everything down. Di you have any asymmetry before your surgery?

Hey! I am having a lift and implants soon and im wondering if you can advise what clothes you wore in the days following your surgery. was it hard to raise your arms to put on shirts?
February 20, 2020
It was hard for maybe the first 3 days to raise my arms any higher than my shoulders. After a week I could fully extend them above my head comfortably. Button down/loose fitting shirts/pajamas were a life saver that first few days! You’ll definitely want something comfortable and something that doesn’t make you have to lift your arms to get it on.

Not sure why all of the pictures are out of order, or why I misspelled so many things! Speaking to text sucks… Forgive me! I forgot to add that the brand I chose was the MENTOR memory gel silicone implant.

4 week post op update!

Danielle_2318
Well, 4 weeks *officially* tomorrow.
1. I am feeling GREAT. Back to my normal self. I can do everything I did before, the only thing I still have to be careful with, it reaching for something high up in the cupboard. Also, When I am holding my 18 month old son, I have to carry him kind of low as to not put a bunch of pressure on my boobs.
2. I am still dealing with a fair amount of asymmetry. My surgeo told me that I would always deal with some measure of asymmetry since I was fairly asymmetrical before… He said if I was really concerned they could maybe do a revision surgery to get the right breast a little “tighter”, but he is optimistic with my results and thinks that I’m healing great so far. We won’t even talk about any revision until I am closer to eight months postop tho.
That being said- at first I was disappointed, I wanted my boobs to be perfectly symmetrical and was a bit frustrated that they weren't, but over time I am coming to grips… Ultimately, they are eons better than what I was doing was before. I love the size, I love where they sit. It’s amazing how “fresh” they make you feel. They look AMAZING in clothes.
3. They have “drop and fluffed” some, and have definitely gotten A TON softer since my original post. Every day they feel more and more natural... but I know I still have a ways to go before they full settle.
Will update again in another 4 weeks!

I love your pix; you look perfect!! Thanks for sharing. I am getting a breast lift with implants in less than two weeks and I'm excited and scared! I've been looking for people my size and body frame to reinforce my choice in implant ccs. May I ask how tall you are and what you weigh? You look amazing! Congratulations!
