Hello again. Guess what! I got my consult scheduled for next week. But I have some questions I wanted to ask you personally since you have used this doc before. Would u be comfortable emailing me, please? I have no one to talk to about this and I’m so nervous and excited. Maybe getting cold feet, too. Anyway it’s chrysta78@gmail.com I just need some supportive feedback from other women my age who have been through this (and used this doc preferably). Thank u in advance. BTW, u look fabulous! No TT needed 4 u, girl !

6 weeks PO, scars and sleep bra

J
Just4me44
6 weeks has come and gone so fast. I’m still having some pain where I tore the scar tissue. It’s better than it was but I still got the burning sensation especially if I try to sleep on my right side. And the gurgling has gotten better. Maybe all the air or fluid all absorbed by now. I started “squeaking” a little but I think that is better too. That’s just a weird feeling!!
They are finally dropping pretty nice now. Fitting into a bra much better. Still haven’t found the bra I just want to buy more of. I have found a great sleep bra with excellent side support. I got a 36DD but I should have gotten the 34DD. I got it at 3 weeks po so I was still higher and I thought the 34 was too tight at the time. But I can tighten the straps on this one just fine. It has molded cups so I’m not pressed tight. Sleeping on my side is better since getting this bra. It’s Under Armor High intense support for $54. Worth every penny. The twins aren’t going anywhere with this on! It also helps a lot with morning boobs. I hope that goes away soon.
I have been using ScarGuard for 2 weeks now. I am so happy with how my scars are healing. I still have a little spot under my left areola that a stitch is sticking out but too short to trim. It keeps me looking red but it’s not as bad as it looks. I’m doing massages 2 times a day. They are getting softer each day. I know I have a more d&f to do and can’t wait to see how they are at 3 months! Hope everyone has a great day and let the healing keep on!

Glue is all off, starting Scarguard, and dealing with tore capsule

Quick update. On Mother’s Day which was on Sunday, my daughter, her husband and her kidos came to spend the day. I loved having my grandkids here. I still haven’t picked up either one yet. The baby, 6 months old, was in his jumperoo and I had bent down to talk to him. He spit his paci out and it went kinda far away. I put my left hand on the tall part of the jumproo and reached to get it. It was farther than I first reached so I stretched farther. Mistake!! I felt a sharp pain and instant burning on the top inside of my left breast. It felt just like a tear. It was so sore the rest of the day and the next day. That Tuesday was my follow up with Dr Hedden. I told him what happened and he examined then told me I tore the capsule lose when I over stretched. But it was ok and would heal back but would take just as long to heal back tho. I was so mad at myself for over stretching. Why I didn’t just stand up and walk around to get the paci?? I don’t know. So that was almost 4 weeks of healing GONE. It’s now Saturday, almost a week from the tear and I’m still sore. I could just cry. But I guess it’s a lesson learned. Ladies no matter how good you feel take the extra precautions during the healing weeks. Its so not worth it. Trust me!
So the glue has all came off. My incisions are looking pretty dang good. There is one spot under my left breast at the “T” that I’ve been putting Neosporin on as a precaution for a few days. It’s not open but I did want to make sure it was healed before starting Scarguard. I will start that tomorrow. I am very pleased with how the scars are already.
As far as recovery I am having typical little pains here and there that go as soon as they come. Guess it’s still the nerve regeneration. I haven’t done any heavy housework and I am going nuts. It’s absolutely wonderful that my husband is doing it but he’s a man and doesn’t pay much attention to detail like I do. But I love him to death and will not say anything. It will be alright. I am doing laundry, cooking, dishes, etc. Just the light duties. I guess I should enjoy the vacation from having to sweep, mop, vacuum and bathrooms.
Dr. Hedden said I can wear any bra I wanted during the day but sleep in a good side support sports bra at night. I went and tried on several bras but I can not find one that is comfortable. I did get a couple to have so I won’t have sports bra straps showing in every top I wear. They have underwire and by the end of the day I’m glad to get it off! I feel like with my size implants I need the wire support. I don’t want to go buy lots of different bras because I still have lots of dropping to do. Right now some 34DD fit in one brand and then 34DDD fit in another. So frustrating. Any good bra recommendations please let me know.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!! I plan on getting a little Alabama sun on the legs since it’s already about to be in the 90’s here and time for short season. Love to all!

get used to the incomfortableness with bras. Wacoal makes some that will hold up for you pretty well. Bali makes a minimizer that may feel good for you too. They're also a bit more affordable. You may find swimsuit tops that tie at the neck will literally leave deep ruts on your neck and your posture starts to suffer over time. I didn't notice these things but if I'd have known on the front end I think I may have prevented the posture problems. Wearing a bra 24/7 will serve you well too. I had implants for 24 years and it will likely cost me $22k to get back to what you started with. OMG it's so good to be comfortable again. without them.

Wishing you lots of years without complications. After the novelty wears off you'll appreciate the advice on bras and posture. They get heavy after a while.

Your breasts look great. I want mine to look like ours. What size did you get and what type of implant ? I’m going for a consultation with Dr. Hedden soon. Do you like him ? I am thinking I’ll probably need a lift, too though. A breast lift with implants ? How much does it cost ? It’s annoying how these sites are so vague on prices. Anyway, thanks for any feedback you can give and you look fantastic !!! Congratulations. :)

Hey Chrysta78!! Thank you so so much! I got 550cc high profile Silicone Mentor implants. I love them! I had the lollipop lift and it was not bad at all. I love that they are up where they are suppose to be! The scaring is not bad at all on a lift. Dr. Hedden is so talented!! My total was around $8000 give or take with hotel, Bliss insurance, etc and everything. I love Dr. Hedden. I just had a Tummy Tuck on October 4 and he done an amazing job with that too. He always makes me feel so comfortable and takes his time to make sure he answers all my questions. I hope you let me know how your consult goes. If I can answer any questions please just ask. Here’s to the start of your journey!
