I still really love my breasts. They aren't as lifted as I would have liked, as I've mentioned before but this makes them look more natural so I don't mind. My left is still a bit bigger but it was bigger than my right before I had them done so that won't change. It's not too much of a different so again I don't mind too much. Scars are doing great, although I was terrible at putting on any kind of scar treatments. The first few months after the surgery I would get random shooting pains very often. Now at 9 months post op, I still get them just not as often and not as bad. Maybe once every couple of weeks. It doesn't feel awkward doing push ups or other exercises, although I haven't been to the gym to really try things out just things here at home. My left nipple still hasn't regained complete feeling but my right one has. Another thing that's not terribly bothersome. I'm pretty comfortable laying on my stomach now as long as the surface is soft. I had a massage a couple of weeks ago and it was very uncomfortable because the bed was pretty hard. My implants were being pushed to my sides. I finally got comfortable enough but not completely. They look great in a bra and they look amazing on certain shirts. I definitely do not regret getting them done.

2 weeks post op
I'm officially 2 weeks out today. Unfortunately I timed my surgery badly and our state ended up opening more businesses a week after my surgery. I do hair so I really did not want to miss out but I had to. It wasn't too big of a deal but I actually started work yesterday. I'm starting slow only seeing about 3 clients a day. Its crazy but the thing that really bothers me is sweeping. Everything else feels pretty good of course I'm still taking things slow. The recovery process has gone super smooth which has been nice. All except for the band. Its almost a love hate relationship with that thing. The first week I almost felt better putting it back on. The second week was pretty bad but as some one mentioned to me they wear it on the outside of their clothing and that made it that much bearable. Coughing and sneezing weren't a big deal either which was nice. I was deathly afraid of either of those because of the pain. My only complaint now is that my incisions sting, like the nerves do. It feels as like when your foot falls asleep and is trying to wake up and you get that pins and needles feeling. I have that feeling all around my areola incisions, all the time! Its worse when something rubs up against them like a seat belt or even my hands. Ugh its the worse and nothing seems to make it go away. Luckily I got some more gabapentin to see if that will calm those nerves down. Cause dang it is not a good feeling. I'm still sleeping with pillows a bit elevated. I found it hard sleeping flat on the bed with the band on. I'm sleeping with the band off tonight so I will see how it goes with no elevation. Wish me luck and I hope any of this helps someone out. Its all worth it though i love them already and can't wait to go bra shopping (and lose this quarantine weight lol).

Hi! I do hair too and wondering how long I should take off work? Did you feel like two weeks was long enough?

Honestly I would have liked to have had 3 weeks but we just opened and I already missed the first week we opened so I didn't want to miss more. If it was any other time I would have taken 3 weeks. Its not super bad. Nothing bothers me while I'm doing hair but my incisions are a bit sore and the end of my day. Its harder to wipe things down and to sweep. I have to sweep very slowly. Im taking it slow and not have completely full days but still. It gets better everyday. If you can take 3 weeks off I would.

How are you healing. How are your nerves healing around the nipple? I have my lift coming up with Salemy and I am so excited but nervous about healing

I'm now 9 months post surgery and i still have some insensitivity in my left nipple, my right is fine. It's not super bothersome to me at this point although I'm hoping it will get better. Every now and then I still get a few pains through out both breasts.they are very random and every month I get less and less. The first few months I got pains a lot. I hope this helps. I did have him keep my aerola size so I didn't need that vertical incision. He did an amazing job, my scars are very small.

The right boob has already caught up with the left and they look pretty darn even now. I love them. I got away with not getting a vertical incision. I'm so thankful for that because that's the one I was dreading. Not too much pain, I have been keeping up with my meds and only took one oxy the night of my surgery to help me sleep. Sleeping has been another issue. I'm having trouble getting the right angle with pillows. The first night home I woke up with my ribs a bit sore from how I was sleeping and last night I woke up with pain in the middle of my back. It felt like I had slept on a tennis ball. So tonight I will sleep in my recliner. Thats where I have been taking my naps and its so comfortable. I put up a pic too of what I did with my chest strap. I had my hubby put lines on the strap where my arms were and when I took it off thats where I safety pinned the soft fabric I had (its batting for quilts). It feels much better. Still feels like I have a crutch wedged in my arm pit but not as bad as just having the strap. I do seem to have a blister under my left boob. From the bra maybe? Not sure. Going to keep an eye on it. But for now things are progressing very smoothly!
