Breast Lift with New B-Lite Implants

UPDATED FROM Miss SMC

3 month PO follow up appointment

WORTH IT
So I had my 3 month PO visit with my doctor. He said everything was looking fine but that the internal stitches below my boobs hasn't fully dissolved do he told me to wear keep wearing the tapes for another month. Admittedly it wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear but I would do anything to minimise my scars and so far I'm happy with the way there are looking.

The good news was that my areola scars are fully healed so i now don't have to wear the tape around my areola.

I did notice something quite strange that has been happening since my visit though. When my doc was examining my boobs, he did a proper 'massage' where he was feeling around and pressing against my implants. It didn't hurt at all but since having surgery I had never squeezed my boobs at all. Occasionally I feel them to check that they are softening but that it. Anyway, fast forward to a day or two after the check up, I've now started to get lots of zings in both boobs including the nipples. Just like the ones u get a week or so after surgery. I don't know if it's just coincidence but the other thing is that they are suddenly beginning to feel super soft and more natural.

I still haven't started to use the silicone strips yet. I'll start once I get the all clear to stop using the tape. I'm the meantime I've purchased Kelo Cote to use around my areolas.

Oh the other thing is that I have two stitches that are pushing themselves out. While I was at the doctor's office one was taken out. The other was so tiny, we were unable to get that one off. Luckily there are no holes and unless u pass ur finger over it I wldnt know it was where. But I'm
Keeping a close eye on it until it falls out naturally.

Until next time! xx

Hi Sweetie. You look amazing. You can touch your boobs, girl!! Don't be timid about squeezing them and all that. Its controversial....but you know some doctors are pro massage,,,and some are not. My doctor does not like massage,,,and my boobs got super giggly, and squishy on their own. Your boobs look amazing!!! So beautiful. You must be over the moon happy!!!! Enjoy. Thank you for such a great update. Happy Healing!
They look good! I am 6 weeks still a little bit higher

10 weeks 4 days PO

It's been a while since I've posted an update but I feel like I don't have much to say that I haven't really said already. I totally get why some ladies just stop updating after the first couple of months.

Anyway, im still very happy with my boobs. Im still waiting for them to soften up though. I can feel some areas like the sides beginning to soften but the top and base is still pretty hard. Don't know why I assumed the whole drop and fluff thing was something that have simultaneously throughout the entire breast. I have defo dropped a bit as well. I think the position is perfect now and don't want them to drop any more.

At my 6 week PO appointment my doc advised me to keep wearing that super-sticky micropore tape to ensure the scars remain flat. Don't know if u can see it from the pics but the scars are flat. I also have to wear my surgical bra everyday until I see him next :( I HATE THAT BRA I do wear a comfy one to go to sleep though.

Only issue now is that the scar has healed without pigment in the middle but I hope it comes back eventually. I'm seeing my doc in a couple weeks for my 3 month PO appointment so I can discuss what can be done about the scars.
Also I noticed that I've lost some pigmentation around my areola but that doesn't really bother me.

I'll try to post an update at the 3 month mark after the appointment with my doc to let I know how it goes.

Hope everyone is healing well out there! xx

Looks like you're healing beautifully. You look absolutely fantastic! I think your PS is right on the tape. Your scars will continue to change over the next year. My scars also did very well initially, but then got the worst between three and six months. I just had a revision for my right vertical among other issues. Loss of pigmentation unfortunately is also one of things that can happen. I'm curious to know what your doctor suggests for that. Some people get tattooing to fill in the color. In any case I'm really glad that you're continuing to update and I look forward to hearing more. Happy healing!
Thanks Mdlg5! Yes, I'm lucky that the doc made me keep the tapes on. I hate them and they a pain to remove but he did say that it wld keep the scar from widening. I'll defo keep up with the updates. Hope your scars heal well now. Take care! xx
Hi Hun!! You are looking amazing!!!!! I love how your breasts look. So,,,,,with the scars. Everybody is different. I lost pigment in/ and around part of my areola. My PS noticed it right away,,,and told me not to worry about it..that the color would come back. I didn't think much about it. The color is coming back. Slowly. The loss of pigmentation didn't bother me that much either. But, just thought I would let you know the color can come back. Mine did. If it doesnt bother you. Great. Some women get tattoo'd to cover the color loss. Sometimes the surgeon will cover that cost. Let us know what he says at your 3 month!! Ive enjoyed watching your transformation happening. You look wonderful! Happy Healing!!!! :)
Thanks for the comments Hun. I'm With u on the discolouration. I'm not too fussed about it but if it comes back then great. I'm over the moon about the changes and so happy that they are finally beginning to soften. Hope ur revision goes well Hun. xx
You look amazing!! I'm hoping to have b-lites myself and am currently looking into the cost difference between London and up North. So grateful for your review! Thank you!! xx
I highly recommend the B-Lites. They are soooo light weight. My chest doesn't feel heavy at all. Happy to answer any questions u might have. Keep us posted on what you decide. xx

4 Weeks 2 Days Post Op

In terms of the shape of my boobs I think that I haven't had any significant changes. They are still high. They are beginning to soften up but only slightly.

I do notice a difference in my scars though. The are now almost completely flat and the incision lines are starting to fade. I'm so pleased I have been taking pics because I only noticed the changes with my scars when I looked at my two week post op photos.

The pain have gotten a lot better as well. My right boob zingers have reduced quite a bit but the nipple is still hyper sensitive. Meanwhile the zingers on my left boob have actually increased. I still don't have much feelings in my left nipple and I'm really hoping this changes soon.

The one thing I haven't done is go bra shopping. I'm still wearing my post surgical bra. I have to do this for 6 weeks. I know I need to get measured but I'm not sure if it's too soon. Perhaps I'll wait until the 6 week mark. How soon did u ladies get measured? Is it wise to wait? Or will this be pretty near my final size?

I'm also still using that super sticky micropore tape. It's still a pain to get off but the medical adhesive remover that I purchased helps a little. Although it works super slow and I use an entire can every time I remove the tape. I only remove them once a week as advised by my nurse. I'm hoping to get the all clear to start using my silicone sheets at my 6 week appointment.

My chest ache seem to be reducing which is good. I've been using Hibiscrub to wash my chest and boobs in the shower instead of my usual shower gel. I also wash my bra using Hibiscrub. This seem to be helping.

So far I'm still extremely happy and I'm hoping that I don't encounter any late post op issues. My only worry was the separation of the incision on my right boob at the junction of my anchor scar but than have now completely healed over. It healed white but hopefully the colour comes back in time.

Catch up soon!

Hi!!! You look amazing. Wait to get measured. You might still be a little swollen,,,,and if you haven't dropped/fluffed yet,,,you wont get a true measure. Im going through another bout of chest acne. UGGH!! Annoying. But,,,It will go away. Glad you are healing well. I have an appointment on this coming Weds. CANT WAIT. Im also starting to spit a stitch around my areola. So weird that this is happening at 4 months. Im still in love with my boobs. Yours look phenomenal. Im so happy for you!!! Happy healing!!!! :)
Thanks for the tip Chica! Mine definitely haven't dropped or fluffed yet so i guess I have to wait. And I know! ... The chest acne is super annoying. I can't believe u have a stitch that split! I thought you would have been way too far post op to have that type of complication! Have u posted an update??? Didn't see one pop up in my newsfeed. Going to have a look at your page now. xx
