Healing is progressing! The stitches in my left breast crease are officially out and I can feel that they are nearly out on the right breast increase. The right breast has finally started to drop into place and the nipple asymmetry is perfect! My left breast is still bigger than my right, not sure if that will ever change, but overall I'm really happy with how they're healing. :)

Week 3 Post Op Update
Karissa WouldAugust 2, 2018
Hey everyone!
I have to say that the first two weeks were way more difficult than I had expected. This is my update for post op day 10 to now (post op day 23). As of this week my left has definitely started to "drop" and look more natural. The right is still sitting higher and still looks freshly augmented. The left was larger pre-surgery and I wouldn't be surprised if it stays that way now, even though my PS tried to correct that by giving my right a larger implant. My body is a bit stubborn.
All of my stitches are completely closed up and I haven't had any complications with them. I'm using Emu Oil on them and they're healing great. I also do not have stretch marks. :)
After PO day 10, I noticed that I started to get a tingling/light burning sensation in my breasts and specifically along my sternum. I did some research and learned this is perfectly normal. I did not have any noticeable redness or oozing from my stitches so I could tell it was likely not an infection. I still have that light tingling/burning sensation but it has decreased from a week ago. I gained sensation back in my nipples around PO day 13 so that was exciting. They are sensitive but not so much so that it's annoying. They just feel weird - no other good way to describe it. When I get cold my tingling sensation around my nipples doesn't feel great, it feels uncomfortable and weird, but i think that will go away once I heal fully.
I am able to walk and do lower body exercises now. I've noticed a severe decrease in my breathing/cardiac abilities since the surgery. I run out breath much more easily, which is frustrating, but I will get it back! I have a lot of back pain, mostly because I was hunched over for the first 21 days. I got a massage and that REALLY helped to loosen everything back up.
Overall it's going well. I would like to see my right drop down a bit and I wish it were the same size as the left, but it is what it is and I'm starting to become very happy with them. I will tell you when you see "franken boobs" for the first two weeks you really wonder if you made the right decision, it's hard to know how they will drop and you really have trust the process. Being able to come on here and see others experience has been SO helpful!!
So far my biggest struggle has been the lack of activity. You have NO idea how much you use your arms/pecs on a daily basis and not being able to do so is a challenge. There are times where you feel strong enough, but you have to remind yourself not to do something because it could damage all the work that was done. Having a very supportive boyfriend has been key to my recovery. Honestly, I don't know what I'd have done if I didn't have him. Even simple things like folding laundry and doing the dishes was a challenge for me. So make sure you have a plan for stuff like that.
Alright I'll follow up next week!
