After having saline implants for years, one finally gave out on me. I was a B cup naturally, and augmented to a small D. --With one implant deflated, and not wanting to rush into surgery, I opted to have the other implant deflated and allowed the bags to remain until I found a surgeon I trusted. --I chose Dr. Bryson Richards in Las Vegas, and he preformed he implant removal along with a lift on May 29, 2020.

Thank you for your story! How long did your implants last if I may ask, and did you experience BII symptoms?

You're so welcome! My implants lasted almost exactly ten years before one finally deflated. --I didn't realize when I had them in that I had any symptoms associated with them, but once they were removed I had an undeniable increase in energy. My period also regulated, and my anxiety lessened. I know a lot of people don't believe in BII, and I had never even considered it, but I felt like a completely different person after the implants were removed.

Considering breast augmentation? I know a lot of women that are very happy with theirs, but I know more and more women that are happier once they have them removed. --Have you considered fat transfer? Based on the before and afters that I've seen, there are some amazing results out there! Good luck with whichever path you choose!

Hi! Thanks for your comment. I don’t have enough fat to transfer though - two surgeons have told me so - and fat transfer doesn’t really work on A cup like me. Plus I run long distance so the little fat that would get transfered would get « burnt off » so to speak.
I may just skip the surgery altogether. Still debating…
