One year of healing
WORTH IT$7,500
Here they are after a full year of healing! The color in the scars has faded completely, and they are at their final resting place. Haha —Since the year is up, I am finally able to make my follow up appointment so that Dr. Richards can take a look at the retained areola and the little lip left on the edge of one scar. I’m also hoping we can do something about the unevenness of my nipples (You can’t tell in the picture because of the way my arms are raised, but it is fairly significant when bending over or standing with my arms down. I’ll get my husband to take a picture for me to post if anyone wold like to see).
Fingers crossed it all works out! I would love to be able to wear a shirt without a bra!
Overall they are absolutely amazing and I am very happy with the shape! Having the implants taken out, along with the lift, was 100% the right decision for me.
Dr. Richards did a fantastic job!

They’ve come a long way!
These photos show the healing process from week one, to week eight. There may still be some swelling that is causing one nipple to be much lower than the other, and a little lip (dog ear?) on one breast where the incision was made. I also have some retained nipple on one breast, but I’m sure Dr. Richards will have a great plan for those issues. So far so good! I’m excited for complete healing and final results!

Wow you look great! I just went through a removal and I was surprised how many doctors tried to talk move out of it. One thing I that makes me happy is no one looks at me and things fake. Good luck! Cleigh

Thanks so much! I had the same exact experience at consults. There was a lot of pressure for me to get new implants if I wanted a lift. --Dr. Richards was amazing, informative, and very understanding. He did exactly what I was hoping for. --- I also just realized I wrote "retained nipple" and what I meant was "retained areola". Haha
My year of healing is almost up, so hopefully I can get that little bit of leftover areola removed soon. :)
Congratulations on your surgery! I'm so glad you are happy with your decision.
