Horndeski is a Genius - Revolutionary Bellasoma Method

WORTH IT
So far I don’t think my shape has changed much because I didn’t have much swelling (thanks Arnica Montana 30c) and because I had very little fat - almost all hard glandular tissue). Recently my body has been spitting sutures near the new areola line but that’s expected.
How do I feel?
(1 of 3) I am quite happy because I am smaller, repositioned higher and I feel supported internally - a night and day difference in how I feel.
(2 of 3) However, I am unhappy about two things - first is that my LEFT breast being larger and lower. You can see on the oblique angle views how that the underside of the left breast has a tapered angle versus the right breast has a more clearly delineated, less acute angle relative to the rib cage. The left breast, because of (a) the chest position being lower than my right, and (b) the more acute angle tissue shape, and (c) larger size, tends to slip below the bra underwire despite me wearing a tight size 34 band. Hence the purple hued crease only under my left breast.
(3 of 3) Also, I am unhappy about the shape being unnatural, like a thick flat pancake. In other words, I needed my doc to understand that the circumference diameter must match the reduced projection for a better appearance. So while I can fit them into a smaller 34C bra, without the bra they are not of a pleasing shape for being so wide relative to the reduced projection. I asked for both a reduced projection **with** a proportionally smaller diameter. The higher position and flat shape makes them almost look like pec muscles. I took a few photos at an angle at the end of what I think I need. I hope this can be rectified when I go back this fall for follow up but I’m not able to bear another $3,000 or so hospital operating room charge.
Sorry for my delay in posting - I’ve had to be away to provide emergency care for someone, but I’m back home now.
I greatly appreciate all of Dr Horndeski’s efforts and unique game-changing procedure and I still highly recommend his work. I believe that he sincerely does his very best efforts. But he is not God so results may not be perfect. I pray that he can and will fix these items of concern when I go back in the fall.
Please let me know what you think and if you’ll be consulting with Dr H based upon my story (I’m not receiving any benefit - just curious and hoping I can be of assistance with any Qs you may have. I appreciate your comments and feedback.

Hi! After reading your review I did have a consult with dr horndeski. I am curious, do you still have nerve sensation in your nipples like he advertises his method ensures? And do you feel like you’d be just as happy with a traditional breast lift, or was this bellesoma method still superior in your eyes?
1. Yes I have full feeling. 2. Without a doubt, I would have nothing other than the Bellasoma because other surgeries leave you with your breast weight dependent mainly upon the pocket of external skin support whereas the Bellasoma procedure (only the Bellasoma) leaves you with added internal support by repurposing your own skin into supportive straps which are woven through specific places of your breast mound and then anchored to a few points along the pectoralis chest muscle. In essence, you have an internal bra which feels supportive without wearing a bra! Even with supportive bras, I couldn't stand the floppy sensation you feel when walking fast or driving along a bumpy road. I feel so much better now and I staunchly advocate for this to be the new standard of care for breast lift surgery.
Thanks for your post, so informative and well written! I’ve been debating for over 10years to correct a BL that was done with no improvement. I am 34DD and so badly want to be a B cup or small C. Like you I can’t stand the jiggling around and lack of support while exercising etc. I will be strongly considering Bellesoma.
Hiya, Nike. Thanks for this thoughtful and thorough update. I'm appreciating your candour, your clarity, and the goodwill you cultivate in yourself and others. It's autumn, now, and I hope you've had a totally satisfying consult with Dr. Horndeski, or that you will, quite soon. It's a long, long way from home to Horndeski, for me. I just might swallow all the downsides of that, though. If a thing's worth doing....
Thanks. I'm from California and YES - it's totally worth it considering you live in your body 24/7... And Dr Horndeski charges a reasonable amount versus getting work done in California.
How are things now? Was your revision a success? Any thoughts on one of the previous commenters saying he may be netter suited for C/D and above outcomes? I relate completely to all of the things you've said about breasts and prefer a B cup with zero skin to skin underneath my boobs. That's what I had prior to childbirth and breastfeeding and that's what I want now. No implants or prior surgery to worry with. Just want small and perky and light again!
Thank you. I'm about 4 months post revision. I'll post pics at the end of April. Look on Wikipedia about bra cup sizes. You will find that diameter changes based both on cup letter size AND chest measurement. This is key!! This makes clear that when you say you want a certain cup letter- ***there is much room for interpretation***. Then it is complicated that some bra brands are much larger in volume/appearance than others like Wacoal. So the key is making sure that when you say you want a certain cup letter, that YOU understand exactly what that fluid volume will be independent of your chest measurement and independent of whatever bra manufacturer you use. To communicate that and to make sure Dr H understands you will need something physical. Don't leave it up to verbally dancing around and or a few photos. I mean, I first time showed Dr H a couple of pics of what I thought seemed to be a "B" and he thought they were more of a C/D!! There's nothing wrong with that but understand that just an imperfect way to communicate what's your idea and expect it will match what he sees and thinks. So get yourself modeling clay and the UNDERWIRE bra cup you want to be. Fill it and use a long sharp knife to level off the clay from the underwire. Don't be afraid to wreck the bra as getting this right is very I important. Use your hands to help judge the volume you want. Also be careful not to make the shape look too crazy store bought - you likely want a bit of a natural teardrop look from the side. I hope this helps.
Were you able to resolve your circumference/diameter issues?
I do wondering if adding hat vertical incision would help with the desired projection..
Perhaps a combination of the Bellesoma and Wise BL

Week 8

Activity changes - Since week 4, been sleeping on my sides and doing some rowing (not at full strength level effort) 2-3 times a week.
Periodically I feel mild soreness on chest wall (not the breast itself) perhaps where the internal straps thread through or are secured to. And that mild soreness Rena to com after the fact, sometimes I feel it after doing some rowing or lifting groceries. Doesn’t feel worrisome - more like an awareness reminder to go easy.
Not much seems to have changed from early post-op photos. Unfortunately, my left breast compared to my right still sags down lower and it remains larger and flatter. However, I am pleased with the higher position on my chest. Close selfie photos seem to make me look a bit chunkier than I am, but the bra photo is more accurate.

Ty so much for the reviews I’m was looking for other options because vertical scars are unexceptional I’m glad i saw your post because I scheduled with a dr in Miami but now I can look into Dr H who is a lot closer
Great review!!! its just what I needed to know, been hesitant and doing revision reduction research too for years. And I’m the same as u in terms of wanted very small breasts despite my frame. And am sure I will have to make that very clear too :) currently a D. I prefer an A cup over a C cup, but B is just right. Thank you
Make SURE you discuss final diameter as well as projection. Look for the Wikipedia article about bra wire dimensions. Mine are not as small in circumference as I wanted, consequently look like a sort of flat pancake because I got the smaller projection I wanted. The final circumference or diameter must be proportional. I plan and hope to get my circumference smaller when I go back for revision.
One more thing - my breasts had barely any fat in them so now when people hug me - they feel almost like hard rocks - glandular tissue for sure. Anyway, that accounts for there being very little visual change since surgery.
Is it possible his method doesn’t work as well for the smaller sizes/reductions? C/D and up seem to be best for his unique technique. Are u doing the revision w Horndeski?
I see wonderful changes from the post-op period photos to this. You look great! Areolas much smaller, swelling way down. I'm betting inflammation will reduce still further in the coming months, though incrementally - I so hope that final circumference will be pleasing to you. You definitely look much closer to that ballerina shape than before surgery, to my eye. Anyway, best to you! :)
Thank you. Yesterday I posted a 4 month writeup with photos. I hope you find it useful. Cheers
Question, does the skin around the areola eventually flatten out? I have terrible stretch marks left from pregnancy around my areola region and im curious if it would possibly make that area look worse?
Hi there. You couldn't have a better breast lift procedure (I have full sensation). FWIW, I think stretch marks are weakened skin so I don't know - you should have to ask Dr H directly - he offers free consultation by video FaceTime. I DO have some mild or small pleating round the areola, but his Bellasoma breast lift procedure includes free adjustment after 6 months to reduce some pleating that you may have around the areola - I understood that and am soon going back to have that adjusted. I called some of his patients who had the same procedure and some of them didn't feel the pleating was much and were happy leaving it just as it was. So it's subjective. I really like Dr Horndeski - you can't go wrong because it's a revolutionary procedure that no other plastic surgeon offers. Plus he knows what he is doing and his price is very reasonable. Although he talks kind of fast, you can tell he really likes his work and wants to get you the best result possible. Just call his office. His nurse is Jana and she is really great too. They are very responsive. Best of luck to you.

Thank you so much for your frank candor. I have been watching this doctor for quite some time for Bellasoma specifically. Like you, I am a supremely atypical patient, so I have compounding reservations about breast augmentation. I appreciate your pictures, and look forward to seeing your results with more time passing since your surgery. Thank you.
Thank you. Tomorrow I will post 8 week photos with comments.
