What/When/Where:
I had the Bellesoma method breast lift 5 weeks ago in Sugar Land Texas and I couldn’t be happier.
Why/Significance:
For years I have had back pain and it’s now completely gone. Immediately after surgery I noticed no pain in my back, neck and shoulders, which is amazing.
I finally have the nice perky breast I wanted, using my own breast tissue while keeping the same bra size.
Coming from a low income, hyper religious background, I was taught that the social economic status of my upbringing was permanent. Additionally, risking change would have the worse outcomes; leading to more pain or systemic poverty.
I never thought a surgery like this was for me or that I too could have a lifestyle or body without some form of regret, whether physical, emotional or mental.
At 245lbs, I'd had enough. I was determined to break the cycle of poverty and pain. After losing 90 lbs by working out and changing my diet and lifestyle, I experienced severe pstosis. I went from a 42DD to a 34B.
Having my dream procedure done by Dr. Horndeski changed my worldview and gave me confidence I did not know I could achieve. I love my “new boobs” and can’t stop looking at them.
I love how I feel on the inside and also how I look in the mirror on the outside. It’s the honest to God truth and feels so good.
I feel like the sexiest woman on earth and look the part as I re-tried on lingerie tops that fit perfectly according to my own personal image standards. This is extremely important and honest because you should always strive to like what you see in the mirror, no matter what. And when you like what you see, it’s money in the bank!
For the first time I can sit at my dinner table and not feel my back hurt after only a few minutes. Back pain used to be normal and I had learned to live with it.
After this procedure, I was reminded how it feels to experience normalcy.
For the first time in years, I can wear and workout for hours in a sports bra without my nerve feeling pinched on my sides in my shoulders and neck, which were taking the biggest hit of all. This is heaven to me on earth, a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Literally... since my breasts were pulling me down before, causing shoulder and back pain as well as limiting my overall potential.
Now that you know the why, here's the who, how, when and where we planned our out of state trip to Sugarland Texas for my procedure:
First, my husband is my number one supporter. My husband researched and found Dr. Gary Hordeski online on RealSelf and presented him to me as an option. I loved who and what he found based on the method notwithstanding the potential to not have to ever wear a bra again!
This was such a great experience for my husband and I both. From the great bedside manner of Dr. Gary Horndeski you can’t just fine anywhere to the impeccable southern hospitality of his staff members from the initial phone call, throughout the week of the actual procedure, up to your departure.
Following my initial phone consultation with Dr. Horndeski, the first task was to coordinate my leave schedule with my husband so we can be out of our offices together and travel to Texas for the procedure from start to finish.
Once our schedule was set, we looked for lodging and flights and booked them both asap based on a 9 day schedule. See below. I highly recommend the Bellesoma procedure with Dr. Gary Hordeski as I am pleased with my results. It can definitely be a life and game changing decision worthwhile for the better, producing satisfying results.

Travel to Texas (2 days):
Monday, December 27, 2021 - Monday night flight out, arriving early Tuesday morning in Texas, then at hotel 9 minutes away from check-in location
Tuesday, December 28, 2021 - Picked up rental car from Hertz for 2 day rental.
(Previous determined that we only needed a rental car two days max out of 9 days, to get to check in site and for the 1 hour drive to the surgery site on surgery day was december 30, 2021)
Pre check-in + Surgery Day (2 days):
Wednesday, December 29, 2021 - Check in day
Thursday, December 30, 2021 - Surgery Day! (~ 4/5 hours)
Next Day follow-up (1 day):
Friday, December 31, 2021 - Follow up appointment with Dr. Hordeski following surgery day. (Bandage removal and putting bra on, checking drains, evaluation, and Q&A).
Recovery before return flight home (2 days): - Varies depending on chosen surgery date.
Saturday/Sunday, January 1-2, 2022 - Recovering at Hotel
Post Opt Check in (1 day):
Friday, December 31, 2021 - Traveled to Dr. Horndeski’s office in the morning with a rental car. He removed both drains and discharged me with instructions. On the way back to our hotel, my husband dropped the rental car off at the Hertz rental that was right next to the hotel we were staying at. All done and ready to go home.
Travel back Home (1day):
Tuesday, December 31, 2021 - Arrived back home and the rest is history! This was just 5 weeks ago…I’m beyond satisfied and recommended Dr. Horndeski to my closest friends, family and peers.
