Great experience so far - the result is already beautiful

I recently had liposuction and a breast lift / reduction done by Dr. Lawton on 2/12/24. This is the doctor to see if you want safe, effective, evidence-based and quality care with beautiful results. It was important to me to find a plastic surgeon locally that wasn't A. going to push implants on me that I didn't want or need and B. Going to try to talk me out of having a reduction done. Dr. Lawton simply listened to my body goals and developed a plan to help me achieve them. He is extremely knowledgeable and only does what is SAFE. I wanted to also commend him for the fact that when I mentioned having liposuction done, he blatantly told me that I did not need it in some of the areas that I had mentioned and found one area where he felt it would be beneficial to my overall goal. Any doctor could have tried to upsell me by selling me liposuction on areas that didn't need it which tells me he's doing it for the right reasons. The Saturday after surgery, I was having some swelling and was unsure if it was to be expected but didn't feel like it was worthy of calling the emergency after hours line for, so I emailed him some photos for peace of mind, and he emailed me back within an hour and told me that what I was seeing was completely normal and to be expected which gave me so much peace of mind. The nurses that I've seen in the office, Adela and Rebecca, have both been so kind and responsive and quickly have addressed all of my concerns. I'm also so impressed that Dr. Lawton uses a holistic approach to healing and sends you home with a regimen of vitamins that aid your body's own healing process. Our bodies are truly amazing at what they're capable of doing on their own and I love that as a medical doctor, he incorporates holistic healing approaches to achieve beautiful results long term. I've also been so impressed by the number of visits I've been scheduled for after surgery. He truly ensures that every patient is healing as they should and keeps a close eye on any potential complications. This isn't just a money factory or surgery mill. He truly makes sure that his work is healing as it should. Dr. Lawton is truly a doctor I would recommend to any of my loved ones. I've seen reviews here that have been negative due to his bedside manner and dry personality and personally, I want my surgeon to be skilled, knowledgeable, and have my best interest at heart. After all, you're looking for a surgeon and not your new best friend. Thank you, Dr. Lawton for my already beautiful result that is continuing to heal and I know will only get better with time!
