Consultation Review: Fat-shamed Me. Awful Service.

Dr Hamilton is not a reconstructive surgeon. From what I gather, he only does implants or simple procedures. On his own words “I am a conservative doctor and I only do conservative procedures”.

He fat-shamed me.

I have a ruptured breast implant and I need an ex-plant and lift. I have a high BMI due to inflammation caused by the rupture and silicone in my lymph nodes.

He told me I am a ‘big woman’ (I am a size 14, at bottom and 12 up top) and proceeded to show me a picture of myself at 25 (10 years ago) on his computer, and said “I would operate on that girl. I won’t operate on you”.

He refused to refer me on. And charged me the few hundred dollar consult fee.

I was in absolute disbelief when I left.
