DR. HORNDESKI AND STAFF:
I love Dr. Horndeski! Eternally grateful that he dedicated his life to changing what is possible for a breast lift surgery, rather than sticking to the traditional ugly scar procedure. He’s brilliant and attentive. I felt extremely comfortable with him and his whole staff. Jana was awesome and helpful, she felt like a best friend! Every single person who partook in my surgery made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. This was the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. The nurses were very caring. 10/10
CLOTHING: bring ponchos or very loose- armed sweaters that don’t go high up into the armpit, but zip or button. High neck is good because it takes a little while to get all of the marker off of skin. Loose, soft pants are ideal.
BRA: Got a 2 pack of Bali bras at target- they’re super soft and comfy. Im usually a 36C and Dr. recommended I try 38D to keep the cups loose so the nipple is not touching the bra. Bought 38C and 38D. They both fit nicely.
HOTEL:
DO NOT stay at the Springhill Suites near Dr.’s office. It was filthy, smelled like chemicals, and full of mold. We woke up the next morning at 4am with sore throats (right before surgery).
DO stay at the Courtyard by Marriott sugar land. It’s about a mile from his office. Impeccable, built just 4 years ago, crisp air, staff gave us a discount because I’m here for surgery, and they were so kind to check us in at 5am!
FOOD:
I ate healthy Greek food, salad, berries, hummus and veggies, and kefir. It’s essential to eat as healthy as possible for the best recovery. Lots of water, MINIMAL sugar as it does not allow the body to heal as quickly.
PAIN:
Day of surgery, minor pain upon waking up. It was not too bad.
Days 1 and 2, my arms and shoulders were very sore. Days 2 and 3 I had a lot of pain around the drains. Massages to arms were very helpful. I was surprised at how badly my arms hurt. They were very swollen and sore.
My posture has been a bit slouched, creating a V shape with my collarbones. This is a mix of tight-chest pain, drain pain, and if I stand too straight, it pulls on skin and could cause bleeding around my nipples. I can see that my posture will improve after everything heals though!
DRAINS:
Got the drains pulled out 3 days after surgery, thought it would hurt because the local area had been in pain, but they didn’t!
MEDS:
I believe my first meds were taken starting day after surgery. Make a schedule on your clock with alarms to remind you which meds to take and when. This was super helpful!!
WORK:
Take off work for a week after surgery. Trust me.
RESULTS:
I will update weekly as I’m only a few days out, but I can already tell that Dr. H did a perfect job. I intend on caring for them perfectly for the best chance at healing and having a nice result. Can’t believe the difference! I’m excited to see the final result! I’m astonished at how small he was able to make the bottom cuts. I can tell he really cares about his work being meticulous. Love so much that it’s all my own tissue. Implant illness is serious and I never wanted fake objects under my skin. It feels great knowing that my breasts are as natural as can be. I love Dr. Horndeski’s results because they always look so nice and naturally perfect. He has truly perfected his craft.

Day 4
RachelD28August 27, 2022
The pain has significantly decreased, but I’m also still taking painkillers. They are looking better and better each day. They are healing nicely, and I’m so excited to comfortably wear cute clothes. I’m still shocked at how amazing of a job Dr. Horndeski did for me. They came out perfect! I’m mentally still trying to wrap my head around the fact that this is permanent. I’ll never go back to that feeling of fear, deep insecurity, and sadness over this. It’s just confidence, freedom, and joy now. Priceless.
I highly recommend Dr. Horndeski to anyone who needs a breast lift or reduction. The results speak for themselves. His work is by far the best there is.
I also want to clarify- my left breast is slightly larger than my right. That never bothered me, and I specifically asked Dr. H not to try to correct it. I wanted him to focus solely on doing the lift, and if it begins to bother me later I can do a fat transfer. I don’t see it ever bothering me because it’s so minimal. Right now I can’t wait to take off the steri strips. They come off two weeks after surgery date.
I will keep updating!

This photo was taken before my bellesoma breast lift. This just reminded me of another experience with another surgeon, and how different it was.
Years ago I consulted with a different surgeon who offered the traditional anchor scar lift, and suggested implants because he claimed that they would not look good without implants. That doctor did not care to see examples of what I was hoping for as far as results. Instead, he was kind of arrogant and said that he is like an artist and he will do what he thinks is best, that I don’t get a choice in the matter. This threw me off and made me feel uncomfortable to even ask basic questions. After seeing that surgeon’s work, his breast lifts were awful and he left the breasts with nipples that were too large, and the breasts looked fake and unattractive with terrible wide scars under the nipple.
Fast forward to my experience with Dr. Horndeski- he was happy to see what I was going for, and happy to listen and understand where I was at. I knew I didn’t even have to tell him what I wanted because of the results I’d seen from him. I knew he would do a perfect job, but it was really nice to work with someone so humble and attentive when it comes to one of the biggest decisions of my life. I fully trusted him. You should always feel that way about your surgeon. If you don’t, RUN!
