Breast implants removed w/ lift 35 yr old, no kids
Last year I decided to get breast implants instead of the lift I knew I needed. I was already a 34 D/DD and really didn't want larger breasts, I just wanted them to be higher or have some upper pole fullness, but I wasn't ready to commit to the scars of a lift. I immediately regretted it and was very insecure about how large they were, and I tried to hide them with minimizing bras and loose clothing. I also hated the way they felt inside of me and the loss of sensation made me uncomfortable, like trying to eat after the dentist while still being partially numb. I decided to remove the implants and get the full mastopexy and I am so glad I did. I still don't have sensation where I had lost it originally, but I'm so happy about my breasts. They felt small at first and it was an adjustment, but they're perfect. It sucks that I had to mess up and get the implants to appreciate my new smaller breasts, but ultimately it was worth it. I think my surgeon did a good job with the implants (one looks higher in the pic because I'm raising my arm), I just hated them in me. I'm only 2 weeks post-op now, but I feel like he did a good job with the lift as well. Was definitely worth it.
