Wow Meecro, you’re looking fabulous!!! I hope your healing continues to go well!! :) x
Thank you Maria! It feels incredible to have my life back. Wishing you all the best
Hey look at you beautiful!! Not sure how I missed this but I'm glad I found you!! You look super! I can tell you I'm ten months post lift and still noticing softening. Incision lines are silver except the area where I performed my own surgery to remove a suture abcess....lol I'm crazy like that. It's healing nicely though. Way to go sister. Hugs to you!
Hi Lisa0714 !! Thank you! That’s good to know that the incision lines continue to lighten I’m 5 months post lift and loving he results. Clothes are so much easier to wear ! Can’t wait I wear sundresses brakes. So free. Thanks or stopping by. Hope you are well [RS bleep]
Wow look at your shape!! You look super. Are you thrilled or what?
Yes Lisa0714 !!!! I always just wanted a lift. And I’ve lost some pounds of inflammation that I didn’t realize I had with the implants. At 60 I feel better than I did at 50!
Thank you Lisa [RS bleep]
Well you certainly look way younger than you are - decades! Wishing you health and happiness!!
I am 6 months post op from a explant and capsulectomy. I had complications with that surgery so I am feeling very nervous about the lift. I have much less real breast tissue and pretty flat but sure would like my nipples to be in the right place. Do you have any words of wisdom going into the lift. I have my consult next month.
I am so sorry to hear about your experience. I am going to have my explant and a lift at the same time in August. Are you willing to share what happened to you? Thank you. I hope you keep healing well.
After my explant with full capsulectomy, I had fluid retention in the right side for months that just wouldn't stop and the scarring on the right side is so much worse than the left. Even after 6 months, the tissue around the scar hits when anything touches it. I will say though, I had no trouble with my implants and when I had a revision done 5 years ago, I had blood clots in the same right side and had to have a second surgery and some tissue removed from infection. I'm glad I had them taken out but undergoing yet another breast surgery to look "normal" is shaking me just a little.

Thank you for sharing. I am having an explant and lift next month and your post has filled me with confidence x
Hi Moomoo4u! Having the explant was the best decision I have made in a long time! I feel so incredibly better from it. I have another review of just the explant if you want to read through it. I was pretty detailed about my experience. It does feel fine to have cute turkey breast at almost 60! When is your surgery?
lol... That was supposed to be cute and perky breasts!

6 weeks post lift

So pleased with the results! I did have an area at the T junction that had some delayed healing. It’s coming along though.

You look great! I'm just beginning my research for explant and possible lift. Would you mind sharing your doctor's name?
Thank you! Troy Pittman at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C. You can Google his name. He may top doctors in the Washingtonian magazine. He specializes in breast reconstruction. He was fantastic! He also did my explant surgery six months ago.
Happy New Year Meecro! Wow, you look amazing, your surgeon has done a wonderful job, I’m so happy for you!! :) x
Happy New Year to you too Maria!! So nice to hear from you. How are you doing? Thank you. I couldn’t be happier. I debated over and over again whether to do the lift. i’m very glad that I did. Yes the surgeon was amazing. He specializes in breast reconstruction. I’m very lucky that I found him. I hope you’re doing well. Big HugsXX
Thanks, I’m doing really well! Yes you are lucky, your boobs look incredible!! :) x
Great to hear that! And thanks again. I feel so free!!
I'm curious why he did the explant and reduction in two surgeries versus one. I'd like to minimize my times under anesthesia.
Due to multiple previous surgeries there was risk of necrosis of the nipples. It was a good decision to separate the surgeries. If you do. search of my name you’ll see my other review of explant surgery. I had problems other the right breast. Lots of indentations. Waiting 6 months allowed he breasts to fluff up!
