Surgery day:
I was feeling so nervous and anxious before my surgery, I barely slept the night before! I had been looking into having a breast lift/reduction for a number of years. Due to being a young mum I haven't been able to go braless or wear swimmers without an inbuilt bra since I was 18. Once I arrived at the hospital I was quickly taken to see the nurse and didn't wait long until I was being wheeled into surgery. Dr Dona soon put my nerves to rest reassuring me he was feeling great and that he had his morning coffee. He then explained what to expect after surgery and like an artist starting drawing his guidelines with care and thoughtfulness.
When I woke I was feeling a little discomfort and needed some pain relief, however feeling relieved the surgery was finished and it was time to focus on the recovery. I was feeling well enough to leave hospital about 5 hours after surgery.
