It's been 11 days since I had a surgery for breast implants and so far I'm happy with the results! I'm 5'1" and I weight 100 lbs. I was a natural C and D cup since I was about 15 years old. I'm 35 years old now and in the last 2-3 years I started noticing that the upper part of my breasts was getting flat. My natural boobs actually looked great when I wore a push-up bra. However, whenever I wore tops or dresses for which I couldn't wear a bra at all, or I had to wear a backless or strapless bra, by breasts looked too low and too flat at the top. I wasn't sure if I should only get a lift or if I should also get implants. But after a couple of consultations with Dr. Z we decided that the best results would come from getting an ultra high projection implant to fill up the top part of my breasts. The lift wasn't really needed in the end since the high projection would accomplish the goal I had. The first few days my breasts were very swollen and they looked a bit too big. But the swelling has gone down now 11 days later and I've been told by the doctor and other girlfriends who have had breast implants in the past that it can take up to 6 months to see the final results. I'll post an updated review in 6 months but like I said at the beginning, so far I'm happy with the results. My breasts are still a bit sore but getting better day by day. I took one muscle relaxer pill every morning and one oxycodone pill every night for a week and that was enough for me to manage the pain. I got 310 cc's in my left breast and 375 cc's on my right one. I'm still not sure if the implants were done under or over the muscle. I need to ask the doctor.

Response from Dr. Zuriarrain:
Fantastic!!! Eliminating upper breast flatness after childbirth is very satisfying when using a breast implant. I'm glad that you now have enhanced upper breast fullness even when not wearing a bra. That is excellent. Congrats.

Initial proposal / Payment receipts / Final payment

The initial proposal was the following: Breast Lift/Mastopexy and Breast Augmentation with Silicone Implants $7,000.00 + Exparel - 20mL $920 for a total of $7,920.
I paid a $1,000 deposit to reserve the date of my surgery about 6 months in advance because there was a waiting line.
A few months later I had another consultation with Dr Z and he thought the breast lift wasn't going to be really necessary anymore because the change would be minimal (about 1 centimeter) and it would leave too many scars. I appreciated his honesty and the savings! So they refunded me $2,920 ($2,000 for the lift and $920 for the Exparel). The purpose of the Exparel injection was mainly to alleviate the pain from a breast lift which has a longer recovery.
