Regret Everything

It all started with me having 3 kids and having too much skin and too little tissue. I decided I wanted to fix the look of my breasts and having been recommended to Dr Chidester I decided to have a consultation with him. He said he couldn't do fat transfer because I was too thin but he could do breast implants without doing a lollipop lift. He was the first Dr who had told me he could give me what I wanted without doing the lollipop lift so I decided to go with him. I wanted around 250 cc's and at all the appointments leading up to the surgery he told me he could do it without a lollipop lift. The day of my surgery came and as I'm lying on the operating table in my gown he tells me that I need a lollipop lift and that he could refund me my down payment if I need to back out. At that point I was already SO excited that I just said, "That's fine." And went ahead with the surgery. I also got a GalaForm internal bra to hold up my breasts.

Within a Month of having implants, I was fainting (extreme vertigo), had lhermitte's, numbness and tingling in my hands and cheeks and forehead and would wake up every night with the most intense headaches it was excruciating! I felt like my breasts were on fire and over the course of a year I would have a hard time eating anything with gluten or dairy n it. I was having a lot of MS symptoms and decided to go to a Dr and get it checked out. Keep in my mind, I'm 34 and have never had to go to a Dr other than an OBGYN for my babies. I've always been super healthy. I went and they did an MRI and discovered some white matter on my brain but couldn't say for sure it was MS. I then go in to Dr Chidester and ask what it would cost to get them taken out and he quoted me a price that was almost just as much as getting implants from him a month ago. I would be out $25,000 and have horrible looking breasts (worse than what I started with to begin with) and he wouldn't even take out the capsule or the GalaForm (which is just as toxic as the implants). I don't have that kind of money.

Fast forward just under two years and I'm still having horrific symptoms, I go in for another MRI and what do you know, I have more white matter on my brain. Like I said, I had 0 of these symptoms before I got implants. Apparently 1/4 of women will get autoimmune disease as a result of getting implants. It IS NOT WORTH IT! This is your health we're talking about. I am 10 lbs heavier since I got my implants in and have lost SO much hair, look so much older and my quality of life is SO bad! Just look up Breast Implant Illness and don't let any Dr tell you it is rare, because it isn't. The research is out there and one day they will feel ashamed at what they knowingly did to so many women. For now, they're making too much money to care. I feel like Dr. Chidester truly just cares about money. PS other dr's have told me GalaForm is permanent and cannot be removed. Dr Chiddy said it would be absorbed by now and I can still feel every single ridge under my skin. GalaForm is just as toxic as implants. It is a foreign substance in your body that isn't supposed to be there.

Also, I've talked to Dr's who can get fat off of thin women. My Sister is 100 lbs and just had a fat transfer and 4 months later she has retained 250 cc's in each breast. It just makes me sick that I could've gone that route for less money and maintained my health.

I just believe that there are other Dr’s who care a lot more about their Patients. I feel like it’s all about the money for him. Feel free to message me about anything.

I think they look pretty good. Sorry to hear about the autoimmune stuff. That's tough.

I am so sorry you are dealing with all this! I wonder if you go to a different doctor. They would charge you less to remove them. White matter on the brain is no jokw. Get those things out or replaced. He obviously botched you ( though they do look nice-but at what price) check out dr.rose in orem. Maybe theres something he can do
