President of IttyBittyTittyCommittee Resigns!

I was searching online for plastic surgeons in Athens, GA where I am currently in grad school. I had a consultation and fell in love with the staff! I fall between 125-129lbs and currently wear a 36B, although a friend told me that was probably wrong. I am going with Natrelle Inspira implants, size 405CC.
I have always been pretty small. Right now I am at my heaviest weight. When I am around 118-120, they are even tinier. I have a rather short torso and a broad rib cage. My ribs actually extend further out than my breasts.
At the consultation, I met with the patient care coordinator, who kind of went over what I could expect and how the procedure works. Then another girl took me to do the Vectra 3D imaging. She took my picture, and I waited for Dr. Pittman. Then Dr. Pittman pulled up my image and we got to see how I would look with different sizes and profiles!! At first, we liked the 375 cc. We also talked about different implants. I was already set on silicone, and he told me they use the "gummy bear" type. He had samples for me to touch which was cool. After that, I went to try on different sizes in a bra. I tried on the 375cc, and also the 405. I actually liked the 405 better, and he said I should just go with it because most people always wish they went a little bit bigger! So right now that is what I'm set on. I actually started crying a little bit when I saw how they would look!
After that, I talked with the patient care coordinator again about finances, which was around 5600, including scar cream, two post-op bras, surgery, implants, anesthesia, etc. The only things not included are Rx (pain killers and muscle relaxers).
Finally, I took a tour of the operating facility. Got to see where my mom would wait and all that.
I felt REALLY comfortable with the staff. We were cutting up and laughing and talking about everything. I didn't feel afraid to ask questions or say what I wanted. It was just a very positive experience.
I told the patient care coordinator that I was considering some other doctors. Pittman just happened to be my first consult. I had one later in the day with Dr. Hurteau at Athens Plastic Surgery. I really liked him too, and he actually did my mother's saline implants back in the day! He was a little more old school, but very thorough and kind! His staff was also very nice and I have nothing bad to say about them at all. Something about my experience at Pittman though just made me really want to go with them. I actually a had a THIRD consultation with the Swan Center for March 20th, but after this day of two consultations and really falling in love with the Pittman crew, I cancelled that appointment, and booked my procedure!!!
My pre-op is March 27th where I will try on more sizers just to make sure, get my Rx, and talk more about expectations, recovery, etc.

Wow, my preop is tomorrow with Pittman. I'm doing removal. Also funny is that Hurteau put these in in 2007. Good luck to you!!

Consultation Photos - Vectra 3D and Sizers
cassxoxoMarch 15, 2017
Tried sharing the Vectra 3D images and a pic of me with sizers on the last post, but it wouldn't add to it so here they are! The Vectra 3D makes such a big difference in terms of visualizing how you will look. At my other consult, the doctor just showed me before and after photos of girls with similar proportions; I much preferred seeing the implants on my own body! Of course it's not going to be EXACT, but it was way more impactful. I also loved trying on the sizers, which I did not get to do at my second consultation. The best thing was how supportive Dr. Pittman was about my desire to go up a size. The Vectra 3D suggested a 375, but after I saw the 405 on my body, I was leaning toward that. It meant a lot to me that he first checked to make sure that my body would look ok with the 405 before giving me the green light. He listened to what I wanted and also considered my proportions and safety, which is more than I could have asked for!!!

I am three days post-op and feeling good! I took pictures after day 1. They were riding pretty high but I can definitely tell they are going to look great when they drop. I slept most of the day Thursday and Friday. Saturday was rough -- I think the painkillers were too much for my stomach to handle. I ended up puking up my breakfast :/
It was a little hard to get to sleep because I had a headache/stomach ache but my boobs didn't hurt. I have not taken any painkillers today. Just half a muscle-relaxer. Might take the other half before bed.
My post-op is Friday so I will have more pictures then!

That's great your mom is supportive of your decision and that she has experience with implants too. Will your mom be able to help you the first few days post op? Will you have enough time to recover and still manage your studies? Feel free to join the April 2017 breast augmentation surgery forum for some pre and post op support. Looking forward to your updates along the way!
Aw, I'm glad you're going to your mom's house for the weekend...and that she's going to help out with your dog too! Regarding your feed, are you using the RealSelf app or the website? I just want to help make sure you're getting the best information possible in your feed. ;)
