Breast Augmentation - finding balance

Since I was around 13, I can remember asking my mom when I would get boobs. She told me to wait and they would come. So 18 years later, no breasts in sight, I’m taking matters into my own hands. Through a friend I found the office of Dr. Fiorillo and scheduled my consultation. Even in our initial emails back and forth, I knew it was the right fit. His staff are kind and friendly, and Dr. Fiorillo himself is so warm and helpful. I’m so excited to go in for my pre-op!

The surgery went great! I felt the effects of the anesthesia a lot last night - felt pretty darn loopy. The pain was the worst this morning, it was so hard to get out of bed. I slept propped up on a little nest of pillows, but moving from lying at a 45 degree angle to standing was really painful.

Other than that, it’s mostly been pressure. It feels like something is sitting on my chest and it’s hard to take deep breaths. Dr. Fiorillo said to do deep breathing exercises, so I’ve been trying to do so.

The implants themselves feel very very high and unnatural. Maybe I’m just not used to them, but I’m really hoping they look perfect when they drop down in about 3 months.

Had some weird shooting pains so I emailed Lindsey at Dr. Fiorillo’s office. She called me right back and immediately put me at ease. So so so glad I went with Dr. Fiorillo, him and his office staff are such gems!
