Hi everyone, during my consultation I was told I had tuberous breast. Which I have never heard nor known I had. Sure mine wasn't "as bad" as many of the woman who have tuberous breast but it is still a little difficult to get the exact results I want. I decided to go with 400cc mentor moderate plus silicone under the muscle. Here is my results after 5 days. I got my surgery sep 2nd. What I can tell you to except or at-least in my experience is major bloating after the surgery - I gained 10 pounds. I didn't need pain pills as I felt no pain, mainly just discomfort. I would rate the pain a 2-4 the most so don't be afraid! but again everyone is different. I have headaches everyday which sucks. Today is my last day with my antibiotics. I was able to wipe my own business lol! So I didn't need help as much as I thought I would, just getting up and out of bed is all because you shouldn't use your arms. I'm so open to anyone here so please don't hesitate to message me with any questions. Here are my before and afters, so far - and let me know if you want more photos I will gladly upload some. Thanks and I hope your experience comes out great wherever you decide to go or whatever you decide to do!

You didn't take any pain meds? - Wow! I had to take some Percocets for the first 3 days post-surgery. As far as your tuberous breasts, I feel like the round implants will help widen your new boobies and make them look less narrow. Tbh, your pre-op boobies were bigger than mine lol, so I'm sure yours will be slightly bigger than my implants. All in all, yours look big! Keep me updated as time goes on :)

I also think you're going to get really close to your wish pic!
September 8, 2020
Thank you so much! as time goes by my wish pic changed so something around 500-600 CC but that would be too big I need to calm down lol and yes I did take pain pills but after the 3rd day they weren't needed. If anything they helped me stay asleep

Hahaha, I totally get it. I'm having boob greed at the moment but then again, I have to wait. I hit 2 weeks post-op tomorrow. I'll check back with ya in a month to compare :)

Was there any sizes you were stuck in between? Also what size bra are you now? They look great!
September 17, 2020
I was originally thinking 350-375 the MOST. but went with 400 cause I am wider. I would say now I would be stuck between 400-450 if I could go back. but the highest I would have went during the day of surgery was 425 which they say would not have made too much of a difference at all. Idk my bra size yet cause it's been two weeks only but they said atleast a full C maybe even a D!
September 17, 2020
I am 5'3 and 145 lbs and your preop looks like mine now a small b cup. I literally want the same look as yours! I have big hips so I didn't want to be too too heavy but a full c. My surgeon recommended 485!! Which I said no because they looked huge but I've heard about the boob greed! But I just don't want to look wider and bigger than I am if that makes sense. I'm stuck between 400-450 right now, I am going crazy trying to decide!! They told me they can't do anything in between for some reason.
September 17, 2020
Also did you lose those 10 lbs you got from bloating!?
September 17, 2020
Did you see my body pics? I'm pretty much 15 pounds more than you and they told me 450 would look good but more on the bigger side since I wanted natural. Yes thank god I lost the bloating lol. That's weird that they wouldn't do in between. If they're telling you 485 I would do the 450. I defiantly still have boob greed a little, but I have the natural look. It does depend on the implant too, cause I got moderate plus and it's a wider implant vs the HP
September 17, 2020
I know but they told because I want MP as well that there is not in between because I would've have liked around 425 as well but they told me you can't only if it's HP. I want a natural c cup as well. Just like your wish picture! And I was leaning more towards the 405 MP silicone but am stuck between 405-445(450)
September 17, 2020
That's great that you lost the bloating!
September 17, 2020
Then my advice would defiantly be the 445. Then you wouldn't wish you went bigger, honestly how I feel that I look right now is not how my wish pic looks, they're more than what I had to begin with obviously but I wish I went just a tad bigger. I need to be patient though. It's only been 2 weeks

It's hard to tell with your nipples covered but your breasts don't appear to look tuberous. TBD has certain things that you can see usually right off the bat and know it's a TBD. The appearance how they droop and large herniated areolas which is caused by the constricted bands under the nipples are just a few classic signs. How many consults did you go on and did each PS tell you that? You could post a before pic in the Q&A forum and ask the Dr if you have TBD. If you truly had that, hopefully your PS had plenty of experience correcting/placing implants on TBD patients. If they don't score the constricted bands you could end of with an odd shape o double bubble appearance. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I hope I helped out with some info that I've learned from RS on TBD. Good luck.

right when he saw mine for my consult him and his assistances let me know about TBD. One PS because I went with the same one my mom did. He let me know the day of surgery he had to do plenty of scoring below my breast because I had little to no breast tissues under neath my breasts. & thx for the info I didn't know about the large areolas

How are you feeling?
September 9, 2020
I'm a week today and I feel great. I can shower myself, as the pic seen I only have bruising on my left breast so that one is a little more tender but I already feel like I can do most things. Still got to be careful don't want to ruin anything! I get my stitches out tomorrow.

What are your measurements? How did you decide on the 400cc mod +? I’m thinking About doing the same implant and I’m 5’4”, 125lbs and 12.5cm bwd. What is your bwd and height?? Love your results!!
September 16, 2020
Hi! At the time of surgery I was 157 lbs and I'm 5'2. I was 12cm bwd. They showed me HP because I thought I wanted that which would have fit my diameter perfectly but I chose moderate plus to have side boob. They recommended that to me for my frame and said it would match my body naturally for curve. From the bat they recommended moderate plus and I was about to do Hp. Honesty if you put the HP implant and moderate plus implant next to eachother it's not too different in terms of projection. So I felt like you got it all with moderate plus. I'm two weeks today I will upload more photos and of my scaring! Let me know if body pics help
September 16, 2020
I also wanted to stay natural looking. I thought 450 would be huge but honestly now having them and seeing 450's my mind changed. I felt small for the longest time (whole first week and a half lol) and I'm still trying to get over it. 400 cc- 450 cc again is no ttoo different but go with the bigger size if you are stuck.
September 16, 2020
I saw your DR question and if you're worried about being too wide it's not too wide for me and I love them because they make me feel smaller in my arms due to the side boob lol. I believe the bigger CC you go though in moderate plus, the wider the implant. hp will give the fullness guaranteed. However moderate plus and hp next to eachother aren't too different in projection. Hope it helps! I know how hard and over whelming this is to make a final choice.

@KZ lookup "mentor memorygel specification sheet" or any brand you prefer. It will give you the diameter to cc info. I have 500cc Mentor MemoryGel Smooth Round Mod+. I have the spec sheet in my review. Implant size chosen is based off your bwd and what can fit. So if I decided to do 600cc it would of been HP based off what would fit within my bwd. I choose 500cc so MPP is what fit within my bwd. Hope this helps.

Oh KZ I am 5'3.5" and weighed 137lbs at sx.
September 22, 2020
Thank you! What was your bwd? Did you choose the implant that was exactly the same diameter as your bwd? I know my choices/measurements but I guess where I’m torn is if I should choose a wider implant to achieve the fullness I’m looking for. I want to look like I am wearing a push up bra naked, so good cleavage and side boob:) so wondering if I should choose a wider diameter than my bwd to get this...

I do wish I went bigger but I will be patient to see what the outcome is in 1- 3 months and so on. What’s funny is the side where I had bruising, the scar actually is healing better than the side with no bruising lol. I still have scabbing on one.
