Scars
WORTH IT$4,500
These are the incisions at various points, I got a new phone a couple of weeks ago so after I transferred them, they are no longer in chronological order. Pain wise, apart from on the day I didn't really have much pain at all, day 2 post op was uncomfortable but the co-codomol was enough to sort that out and I stopped taking any medication after that.
I will post updated scar pictures later but if anyone can offer any proven advice that will help them settle down better or quicker then please do tell. I'm not sure whether silicone strips or gel will really help or not.

I got lost
I'm sorry I haven't posted my results earlier, it might sound silly but I lost this post because there were issues of not being able to link my surgeon I thought it wouldn't be posted until he could be linked to my review and I finally got notification 2 days ago that I could post while I wait.
I had my operation about an hour after my appointment, I was both a little nieve and considering the relatively low price I paid, expecting 2nd class to be quite honest.
I thought I'd arrive, be queuing for my spot, asked to fill in a form before being ushered into surgery and dispatched asap but in truth the experience was quite different.
Firstly I went in the front door of a very large newish building which as it turned out was actually a G.P and was duly sent through the surgery to the rear of the building. Once there, there was a separate entrance for the private hospital which is above the surgery on 2 floors. It was every bit what you would expect from a private hospital such as BUPA. I met the nurses who showed me to my private room with tv and ensuite, gave me a couple of forms to fill in for the surgeon. I thought because it was so cheap I'd be having a local anaesthetic and drowsy pills, but no, the nurse asked new a bunch of questions about my health and history and then so did the anaesthetic nurse and finally my surgeon Dr Prassad.
I would also note here that any worries I had ended when he walked in the room as the hospital is recognised by the NHS and Dr Prassad was wearing his NHS Consultant ID badge.
Dr Prassad marked up my chest and a few minutes later the nurse took me to surgery. After an absolutely lovely nap I woke about 45 minutes after I had been sedated feeling suspiciously ok and looking forward to the sandwich I had ordered before surgery as they won't let you leave until you've eaten and not thrown it back up.
My hubby had been there the whole time and I asked him to help me off the bed. I looked down and WHOA!! Someone stole the floor and gave me a cleavage ha ha. The surgeon was right with his bra sizing as I had brought a 34C sports bra from sports direct and it fit snugly.
It was actually another 3 hours before I could leave, I didn't get the sandwich I requested but instead toast but in honesty, the toast was hard enough to keep down and a sandwich would have been impossible.
The pictures I have posted were actually taken the day after. They don't look much like that anymore and I will post a recent picture later.
For the first week I slept upright in bed, although I had intended to sleep on the sofa recliner I couldn't get comfortable enough and neither could my hubby (he was with me 100% of the time for the whole week). Then for 4 weeks I slept on my back with pillows on either side to stop me rolling on my side but after 5 weeks I finally got some real sleep on my side.
6 weeks on they are softening but far from soft, which I know will take time. There was bruising at the edges of the incisions (my nurse assured me on my one week check up that the bruising was because the surgeon must have had to fight to get my implants in) so I really couldn't have gone any bigger.
I will leave it there for now and fill in any blanks and answer any questions later when I post my updated pictures.

What size are you now?
I hope you're recovering well and pleased with the results x
Hi there. I am very similar to your pre op size, and I just went in for my pre-op today. Unfortunately, the surgeon I choose said he wouldn't do my surgery after I reminded him that I wanted a natural look because he said I am 100% going to have palpable and visable rippling since I don't have any breast tissue to start with. So, I am wondering if you have experienced palpable and/or visible rippling and if so how tolerable is it?

Unlike a lot of people who say they are a 32aaa etc and have no boobs, I really did have no boobs. There is literally no bra in this world that would fit me and being fed up of never being able to buy beautiful dresses or even vest tops without them gaping open I decided to elect for breast augmentation. I went to my GP about a year ago to ask for a plastic surgeon he could recommend but upon seeing my chest he suggested I could be eligible for implants on the NHS. After a consultation at a teaching hospital, where my breasts or lack of them seemed to be a source of amazement to the point where 6 doctors and nurses had come to see this invisible boobs girl, then 8 months of me calling the consultants involved; while they in turn applied to the NHS to fund my BA only to find that my breasts that have not developed since I was 12, were not going to be funded by the NHS. The reason being, I'm under 21. Yes I'm in such depression and under developed that I meet that criteria but my boobs still might kick in ha ha. I was willing to pay for them a year ago and waiting only to have my hopes dashed, only made my distress worse and still a surgeon was not recommended.
Throughout this time I have been an avid reader of Realself.com and I did lots of research and found myself a backup plan.
I called Redrose Desire in Preston and booked myself a consultation about 5 weeks ago. I met Dr. Prasad and he suggested that because of my lack of breast tissue and skin (to be blunt) that 385cc was the maximum that I could have but that should bring me up to a full C cup. It wasn't the D cup I was hoping for but in honesty, I would have been happy with a B but as I'm paying for it I want my moneys worth and after reading about boob greed on here I decided I would take the maximum I could. I had my surgery on the 10th of March, the cost was £3300 (for the British who are wondering how to convert usd into pounds). Which is the same cost for all breast augmentations at this clinic. I will post more later as this is turning into a small novel ha ha.

Hello ! How is your recovery going ? Post some pics for us to see the progress . I hope everything is going well .
I'm sorry to hear about your journey, waiting and then your hopes taken away from you. I put that down to NHS cutbacks! I'm glad you got the surgery and we would love to see the results. Hope you've been healing well. Take care
Hi! I was just like you, no breasts at all, I feel so identified with you. I had my BA 10 years ago, and the maximum the doctor could fit was 300 cc. Which is pretty decent, and I was totally happy with the change, giving me a nice C cup. But now 10 years later I'm looking to upgrade to 475. Now my skin has expanded. So even if your 385 don't fully satisfy you, keep in mind that eventually you will need a replacement, and you can go to a bigger size then, when your tissue has expanded :) Good luck!!
Oh! and I was 19 too! :)
I really did not feel feminine at all without boobs, I have other issues with my womb which will make it hard to conceive so I had to do something about the one thing I have control of. Just wearing clothes that other girls take for granted like a vest top is amazing or having something to tease my hubby with (flashing him to make him come to bed was more embarrassing than productive before lol although he never complained). I hope your surgery goes well
I am 34aa and my surgeon said I can get 420cc which will give me a c cup. I really wished a D cup.. my BA is on the 9th. Cannot wait to see your results
Good 4 you, i was one of the noboobers also:D
