Change of plans...bigger implants
WORTH IT
So the last post I did talked about the tightening of the breast pocket surgery. However, I met with my doctor again and we decided to go with bigger implants and a bit of dissection towards the middle of my chest. This would fill in my breast pocket and help them site more medial than the original implants. This was a quick change of decision that I am happy with. Hopefully when healed I’ll be even more happy.
My surgery was yesterday and went well. I’m sore but really only where the incision last are. Not nearly as bad as the original surgery.

Another surgery to come...
Hi ladies! So I know it's been a while...this COVID stuff really changed everything. So my girls have dropped and fluffed, hardly any pain at all, just random phantom things at times. Mostly when I've been doing too much, like firewood, a lot of cleaning, etc.
I haven't had any real issues. My breasts were SUPER sensitive for a while and I had to rub them with a facecloth to desensitize them every now and then. It seemed like anything that touched them hurt. The nurses said it was because the nerves were all stretched thin and basically didn't know what to do. They have since calmed down and are fine. I still don't have all the feeling back in some areas but for the most part, it's there.
I will say that the implants settled wide. I am naturally a bit wide set, as you can see from my before pics, but they settled further than I would have liked. To the point where if I raise my arms over my head, I can see the separation between my breast and the implant. I wasn't going to complain though because they look 100% better than they did before my surgery. However, I finally had my 6+ month check up and my doctor recommended doing a bilateral infero lateral capsulorrhaphy. This basically tightens the pocket laterally to move the implants more medially. Which is what I hoped the outcome would have been anyway, so I am pretty happy he suggested it. Just nervous to have to go through it. I'm so used to them now that I don't want to not like the outcome of the next surgery. Does that make sense?
Anyway, I do have pics that I will upload shortly. I finally got my laptop back up and running. In the meantime, has anyone on here had to have that second surgery done? They said it is not super common but does occur. I googled it and it is done more in women who are going from a larger implant to a smaller one. So I am hoping to find someone on here that's been through it and can comment on their results.
Thanks, ladies!!!

The girls are here!
Surgery was Tuesday and went really well. I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be. I woke up pretty good, sore definitely, and the pain meds were fine until I tried to get up...then I felt nauseous. I didn't throw up and made it home just fine. Lots of rest! I'm having a hard time sleeping at night propped up, I've never been a back sleeper. I always sleep on my side so it's been difficult. Today is day 3 and I'm just taking ibuprofen during the day. I take one Vicodin before bed to help me sleep, along with a Zofran because the Vicodin kind of makes me queasy (another reason I take it before bed).
I had my follow-up appointment yesterday and they gave me the massaging exercises to do. It's one of those "hurts but feels good" things. I have to do it 3 times a day. I try to do it a little longer than a minute at a time, anything to help the healing process along. I also have a strap that I am to wear to keep the girls from creeping up. My left side seems to be dropping a little but the right wants to stay put. Probably because she's the bigger of the 2 implants. Can't wait to not have torpedo boobs...I feel like I'm going to poke someone's eye out and I won't even know because they are almost completely numb lol
Overall, so far, I am pleased with the outcome. I cannot wait for them to drop and fluff and even out. I just have to be patient, right? UGH lol
I can't think of anything else at the moment but will keep posting updates :)

Wow you already look great! I love the fullness and it looks so natural
THANK YOU!!! I have my one week follow-up tomorrow to see how things are going. I am pretty happy with them at this point. So much better than what I had before :) I am a bit nervous because the one on the right that has the bigger implant is still sitting higher than the other one, and to me I can notice the size difference. I know it's not going to be perfect, I just need to stop overanalyzing it. I absolutely love them and am so happy I did this.
I will say that I've realized that "boob greed" is a real thing HAHA I could have totally gone another size up ;)
Hope you are healing up nicely! You look amazing <3
