Day 2-5

WORTH IT$6,200
Day 2 - Discomfort. The pressure was still there and I was still on Narcotics. I only took one every 4-6 hours. I had trouble pulling up my pants, using the soap dispenser, flushing the toilet, lifting myself from a resting position in a chair. I slept in a chair for the first two nights. Waking up frequently to use the restroom.
Day 3/Day 4 (New Years Eve)- I noticed small changes. Day 3 was my last day on Perc. My strength was coming back, I was able to do more things on my own again. My husband has been taking care of our 1 year old and lovingly preparing all of our food so I haven’t had to do much. By Day 4, I started taking 1 Tylenol ES every 6+ hours. Day 4 my husband convinced me to sleep in the bed and I used three pillows to keep my head and chest elevated.
Day 5 - Feeling great. Finally back to normal. I drank apple cider vinegar and was finally able to go to the bathroom. Being off the narcotics definitely helped. You don’t feel as sluggish and your mindset goes back to normal. I cooked this morning for my husband which was wonderful after all that he has done for me thru this recovery. He ran downstairs when he smelled bacon (we are pescatarian). Happy to be on the other side of the pain now. My breasts aren’t as hard. They definitely softened at the bottom (I had a bit of breast tissue before the BA - I was a 34/36 A) so I think that’s my normal breast tissue until the implant drops. The top is still hard but softer than Days 1-4. Less chest pressure and I was able to sleep with only two pillows the evening of Day 4.

Dr. Morea and his team are phenomenal.

I woke up this morning (the day of SX) nervous and excited. I made sure I followed all pre-op instructions: No food past 12midnight (SX was at 9:00am), no lotion, no jewelry, no makeup, and I took the anti-nausea meds within one hour prior to SX.
The staff was so kind! From the moment I walked in they began to take great care of me. The waiting room was heated (it’s a cold December day). I took a urine pregnancy test, went thru my vitals and met with the team.
My husband and one year old son were my A team! They stayed in private waiting room during SX and were happy with their time there as well.
I was nervous but very excited. It’s been 15 years in the making and I’m so happy to be here (SX completed). I am already happy with the results. I have 400cc in both breasts. Dr. Morea is amazing. I really appreciated his knowledge, kindness and skill. He has approx 20 years of experience and it really showed. This helped keep me calm in the midst of going under anesthesia. I was of course nervous with going thru with it because of our young son. My husband and I prayed for a successful BA and I’m so glad that I did it!
