WORTH IT
Tomorrow is 3 weeks post-surgery for me.
Today, I can finally say I am in LOVE with my new boobs. Up until now, my husband has loved them but Ive been unsure. They looked so weird at first, and then my nipples looked weird and then my right looked smaller than my left but theyve evened out and I absolutely love them!!!!!
I have been back to work now for a week and a half. The first little bit was scary but I found that it got easier by the hour and certainly a little better every day. I found the pushing and pulling motions to be the hardest but I had lots of help. By today I'm pretty much working normally.
I'm loving that I'm able to do my hair, even in the back. Lol.
Things that are difficult still - opening and closing car doors, putting on coats, sleeping on my back comfortably. It is a LONG recovery process and I find myself worrying that I might be wrecking something without even knowing it. But I am a worrier like that.
I am pretty much off all pain meds - I did take some Advil before I started work today just so I didn't get too sore during my busy day but I'm doing OK without them.
Over the weekend, I developed a cord that protrudes under my left breast further down onto my chest. I looked it up and it looks like Mondor's. My PS said not to be concerned but just to take it really easy this weekend.
My back is tired, especially after work and I've been laying flat on my yoga mat and just stretching out the lower back - it feels so good. One piece of advice if I had to go back and do this again - I would book myself a massage in an sitting up massage chair for around 2 -3 weeks!
Scars are looking good - I took my steri strips off at 2 weeks and now I'm just using paper tape on them.

Here's some photos. They're still pretty high and blocky but way better than they were!!!!
I wasn't going for a natural look - I wanted a very defined implant look. And as I think I said previously, I started with next to nothing but I had no sag and good quality skin so no lift was needed!

Do you think you will have problems working out? My job is physical and the PS doctor said I would be fine with 420 but coming from an A cup I worry. I'm also starting back work after 6 days.

I don't think working out is going to be a problem eventually but I will admit that even at 7 weeks I'm still not doing anything with upper body for exercise. I do legs and cardio but I have avoided upper body so far. And starting back to work at 6 days might be too soon. Everyone is different but I know I pushed my start day back to day 10 and I was soooo thankful I had. Any pushing movement or movement where you had to have your hands up by your head was still painful for me at that point. Good luck on your journey, it's worth it!
