WORTH IT
When I woke up this morning, 10 days post OP, I noticed my left implant had shifted below the insision line and I could see a crease between the implant and my breast tissue. In a panic, I texted my doctor who apparently has Covid (!) so I couldn't make an appointment. He said that probably my bra straps were too loose. I tightened them now to the fullest, but I worry that the damage is already done and they won't heal right. Since he is in quarantine, and it's the holidays, I won't be able to see a Dr (a different one) for another 4 days! I am very upset and worried that they are ruined and won't heal nicely. Will post again once a see a doctor.

Finally got to remove the bandages and check out my incisions. A bit bitter than I thought, but not too bad. Boobies also look bigger with out the bandages. At first I was afraid they would look too small, but now I am very happy with the size. The right has dropped more than the left so my nipples look a bit funny and uneven, but I am hoping this will correct itself as they heal.
So happy with my new boobies!

I had my breast implants done by Dr. Briffa at St. James hospital in Sliema, Malta. He was highly recommended. The consultation was very straight forward and he answered all my questions to the point. He told me he works with Polytech implants and recommended the finely textured kind because they reduce capsular contracture. They are different from the textured kind linked to cancer.
He measured me and asked how big I wanted to go and we agreed on 380cc to go from a A/AA to a full C. He also said that I didn't have enough of my own breast tissue to go over the muscle, which I wanted since I am a gymnast and pole dancer and use my pecs a lot. But he said the implants would show and look very bad and he wouldn't do it over the muscle, so I took his advice.
He gave me his cell number and told me if I had any questions I could write him. He was also very prompt with replying to my questions, as well as providing the model number of the implants when I requested it.
Check in and service at St. James was a breeze. I checked in at 6am, had surgery at 8am and was discharged at 4:30pm. Moving my arms and upper body was a pain, but I walked myself home without problems and took it easy for the rest of the day. Today is day 1 post OP and as long as I dont move, I feel fine.
I feel I could have gone bigger, but I guess I just have to wait and see how they drop. Overall I have no complaints about the doctor, the hospital or the procedure. So far so good! Will add update pics every week!
