Post op day 2 versus week 17 (present)
Hi everyone! Hope all is well with you girls. Here I am at week 17!
Once I crossed my 3 month mark, I went back to running. That was really what I was looking forward to actually. Started out on the treadmill then went outdoors gradually. The key is to find good supportive sports bras. I ordered mine from Lorna Jane.
My right breast has no issue whatsoever. It's my left breast which is still sore and aching at times. I've also gone back to lifting light weights ( eg lat pull downs less than 5kg) and attempted to do some planking! No issues. I'm just cautious about jumping. I tried to do a few jumping jacks but my breasts didn't feel very good. It just felt uncomfortable. Ill give it a proper go when I hit the 6 month mark.
In fact if you look at my pictures, my right breast seems like it has already dropped into its pocket properly while my left breast is still sitting a little higher.
Remember the wound infection I had a couple of weeks back from the tape? Yeah, thats become a scar already. Total bummer. It's dark too. Not even a light one. Sigh.
My scars from underneath my crease are also raised and red-ish in color. I've been alternating between bio oil and dermatix for the scar treatment. I tried to apply bio oil all over my breasts for a couple of weeks to prevent any stretch marks or whatever but it resulted in little pimples or acne appearing all over my chest and cleavage. Ghastly. So I've stopped doing that.
Oh also on my 3 month mark, I showed my pictures to Dr boonchai & he told me to stop wearing the sports bra for the whole day because the gap is closed enough. Initially I had to wear it for 6 months as per what he instructed when I left Bangkok. Now I just alternate between a sports bra and a underwire bra during the day. I tried to sleep braless at night but it doesn't feel supported in a sense so I wear a sports bra to bed.
Oh and I feel no pain when I lie on my sides and my front. However when I go sun tanning and lie on my front, it does feel like I'm lying on air bags or smth? I don't know I feel like I can't really properly lie on it. ( like my full weight on it for a long period of time).
I'll try to upload a video of my breasts to show you ladies how soft it has become. It feels good but frankly I wish I gotten them bigger. 450cc would have been ideal. Boob greed is real. Grrrrrr.

Go pink or go home! (Day 52, Week 7)
So latest update from the doctor:
1. Stop the massage
2. Greenlight to wear underwire bra
3. Wear underwire bra during the day
4. OK to sleep braless at night
So I guess no Symmastia then. Jus follow his instructions. I have been braless for 4 days now actually. I was getting used to it. Haha. Oh well. I will go to La Senza and get me some new bras now as there's a sale going on and everyone loves a sales right? ???? Probably gonna go for full coverage bras. No push up. I don't like those thick padding. Had no choice in the past because I had small boobs. Now that I got a boob jo, I don't want to wear push up bras anymore. That's why I got the surgery!? Sick of push up bras and those silicon "chicken fillet" bras to squeeze the living daylights out of them! Hopefully these boobs stay up and not sag. OK we will see!

Early onset of Symmastia?? I'm only 7 weeks post op! Geez... Should I freak out?
So I decided to send some of my recent pictures to my doctor's coordinator to relay onto him. He responded only saying the middle part of my gap is closed, to stop wearing the compression/sports bra and to stop the massage. What?????? For those who don't know what Symmastia is, definition is below:
"Synmastia (also called uniboob or breadloafing; often misspelled as symmastia) is a specific example of a post-operative problem requiring a thorough, systematic approach and innovative surgical techniques."
Anyway, upon seeing his response of course I went back to him with a couple of questions of concerns. I haven't worn my sports bra for over a day ( feels strangely uncomfortable because I've been used to wearing it 23 hours a day and I'm worried it'll start sagging if I stop wearing it) and I'm pretty worried about stopping my massages. I worry that if I stop the massages, I'll develop capsular contracture slowly. Aren't you suppose to be massaging the implants for a good 4-6 months? Gosh. I'll wait for his response and see what he says. Anyone heard or had this before? Any advice for me? Grrrrrr.
I didn't think or feel feel like my gap looks closed? I mean I have a 1 finger gap... That accounts for something right? Previously, it was 4 fingers and I know my doctor told me that during my surgey he would do his best to put the implants as close as possible to close the gap. Gosh and then now it seems too close?! Ahhhhhh! What's the deal? Do yall feel it looks abnormal?
Also update on the pain. My breasts still feel sore and numb. Especially from the incision crease up to my nipples. I get tingly sharp pains too on and off too. Even tapping on it doesn't feel good. I think this is normal yeah?
On a more positive note, I went out yesterday to the Triumph and Sorella store to try some non wired bras out. If I cant wear a sports bra, I guess a non wired bra should be OK right? I cant go out without a bra! In the end, I walked out of the Triumph store with a D75 / 34D bra and $70 poorer. I guess my previous post freaking out over the size was uncalled for.. I just need to tell myself that different bra manufactures have different sizing / measurements eh?
I've attached some pictures.
By the way, what's up with real self? I have got to resize all my pictures so that it fits properly into the frame but in exchange, the pictures turn out to be of poorer quality. My apologies for this!
