I’ve been thinking and consulting of BA for couple of years.
Since last Dec (2018) I finally made a decision and planed the surgery on 22 Feb, 2019
I am 165cm 57KG 75A, MUM of two
Spotive build, wide strong shoulders
Like to go with the result of 75C and insist areola incision in combo with dual plane.
During the consultation appointment, dr advises me to take in between 295-330cc to reach a 75C, final implants size will be determined during the surgery and depending on the pocket size and the incision length.
Since I have pretty small areola and the incision will not possible be smaller then 3.8Cm and in combination of the pocket size, I finally got a implants size of 315CC, which I am pretty happy about.

1 week post op MOTIVA 315CC high profile

Well, the first week pics.
With medical bra on, my boobs looked complete great and all good! But...
As many of you experienced, my boobs are just too “humpy” and squared. (See picture)
Those pictures are my 1 week post op, you could see that
1. upper polar is overly full, and shaped like a “7” of a side look
2. Nipple still projecting downwards a bit
3. Lower polar is nearly flight and not yet dropped at all
What I am doing in my week 2,
1. I did NOT remove the types around my areola incision, as I don’t have any stitches (medical glue+ type I had/have). My PS literally told me that the type around incision could be removed after 10 days, but I’d just leave them there till those natural falling off by time. To keep the type there make me somewhat feel safe with stretching of the incision.
2. I was SHOCKED with how square my boobs look like when I looked them from the side. Everyone is talking about the same “drop and fluff”, I think it is normal how they look like now (humpy and square) but so inpatient with the process. I started massage them since day 10 and twice per day (30mins each once) by using Weleda massage oil. Well, I must say right after massage my boobs do feel warm and soften (a lot less tensed), but after a while they were like they were again. I think the drop and fluff with just take its time and have to be patient.
3. Sleeping! I must say my sleep improved a lot in week two, I could slightly lay inclined on my side. However, my PS advised me to wear medical bra the first 6 weeks day AND night, I do not always feel comfortable with lower breast band of the medical bra in the night, but at the other hand the medical bra do give enough support of my boobs when I lay slightly on my side
4. Further, nutrition wise I do take everyday 1500MG VE and medically I have already stopped all kind of the pain killers by day 5 already. The only medication which I am taking is subscripted by my PS “Singulair 10mg” for 28 days and one pill per day to lower the risk of complication of capsules construction.
Sorry ladies that I have no idea why picture get upside down after uploading...

Week 2 post op motiva 315cc high profile

Week 2 post op
1. Upper polar are still standing out and high, but lowered a bit in comparison with week one, massage may helped.
2. My boobs are still hard and tensed most of the time during the day. Right after massage that they do feel somewhat soften.
3. Scars. As mentioned in week one post op, I didn’t remove the tape around my incision (areala) I felt safe to keep them there to hold ( I don’t have stitches but medical glue). The tape has changed colour due time because of the massage oil I am using. I am thinking of remove tapes by 20days.
As on my left boob (your right) you could see there’s a tiny little piece of incision was not covered by tape and that little part is already healed perfectly, hardly any visible scar lines. I hope the scar will look ok overall. By the way, my areola incision is placed on the outside of my nipples with a VERTICAL cut, not as traditionally that placed horizontal under nippel. Why? My PS explained me that through horizontal areala incision, the lower polar receiving a lot of tensions/stretching during the heal process by gravity, often the scar result shown “folded” or “stretched wider open” due time of heal. They received more patient satisfactions with vertical incision (areola cut). because the scars naturally stretch the way vertically by gravity which even helps the scar width stay thin and tiny.
4. My left boob (your right) became a bit more bruised (outside under part) in week two, and it also almost disappeared in week two. Along the bruised, lower part of my left boob also felt more stretches/tensed/sole feeling, I massaged there more often.
Well, I am really get inpatient with “drop and fluff”, I know it takes time, but... :)
