Thankful I Had Dr. Restifo As my Surgeon - Mom of 4/Grandma of 1

My 1st experience with Dr. Restifo began in 2004. A mom of 4, all C-sections, an umbilical hernia and silicon gel implants placed in 1988 at the age of 23. From my 1st consultation with him, my experience with the office staff, pre-op, surgery and post-op; I had always felt comfortable, respected and my questions and concerns always gone over thoroughly. The procedure I was having was a full abdominalplasty, hernia repair, and removal of silicon gel implants and replacement for saline implants. Dr. Restifo, may not remember this, but I had arrived at the hospital and was getting prepped by anesthesiologist (I have asthma and had gotten over a virus, but still had some wheezing) the anesthesiologist & he consulted that thought it best to wait until 100% - He made me feel so comfortable during a time I felt so anxious and never doubted that he had my best interest in hand~2 months later surgery was performed, (36 yrs old; 4, 6, 13 & 14 year olds) and the RESULTS were AMAZING!! Over the years to come there wasn’t a medical professional ie; dermatologist, gynecologist, or mammography & ultra sound specialist, who didn’t ask me; Do you mind if I ask who performed your surgery? Your scares are impeccable, and you look so natural, most couldn’t tell by appearance alone, it was through appropriate examinations that they could detect (of course I acknowledge Dr. Restifo. ~~Flash forward 19 years, age 57 and a first time grandmother, thought it was time for a change for the next phase of life — My experience all together again with Dr. Restifo and the office staff were as if nothing had changed, except the dedication to helping patience stay as healthy as possible after the covid pandemic. After my first consultation, for considering and Enblock implant removal, I had additional questions and concerns and he didn’t hesitate to have me come in again to reevaluate my concerns. I had made the decision to have the surgery, without a breast lift at the same time and he made me feel comfortable about that decision. I am currently 2 weeks, 3 days post-surgery, had 2 post-op office visits and have had any questions or concerns that I have had due to recovery answered and made felt comfortable. It was stated that if I ever needed to before my 6 week post-op check-up, that I could always come in sooner if I need too. (The recovery is going well). If I decide after my full recovery from my enblock implant removal to ever move ahead with a breast-lift, I know who I would go to without a doubt. Always have and always will refer & recommend Dr. Restifo & his staff.
