I Can’t Possibly Recommend Him Enough :)

I feel so fortunate to have had the pleasure of going through my breast explant journey with Dr. Kanevsky and his wonderful team. I can not possibly recommend him enough. Dr. Kanevsky is by far the kindest, most considerate practitioner in any branch of the medical field I have ever had the privilege of relying on. (And I’ve dealt with many) It is clear to me that he not only is passionate about what he does but the level of care he has for his patients is unmatched. From our consult, to our surgery and all through post op care- I have felt looked after, cared for and confident in my journey.

A breast explant is an incredibly hard procedure to go through emotionally for many women for many reasons. I am so grateful that I had somebody so warm and so skilled to guide me through the process. Even on my surgery date when I was teary and afraid, I felt deeply comforted and looked after by everyone around me. It was the safest, and best possible place to be.

Although it is hard returning to a chest I originally ran from, my results couldn’t be better. I originally had thick red scars from my implant surgery, Dr Kanevsky even took the time to remove that scar tissue and make my scars smaller and thinner than they were previously (I can’t tell you how ecstatic I am about this) I am so excited to begin my life with natural breast tissue, without pain or discomfort. My results are better than I could have hoped for and my care has been above and beyond.

I also want to say thank you to Sara in the office who I believe was my main communication in office. She was extremely patient, warm and sweet with me always, she was so helpful and always got back to me quickly, answering all 1 million and 1 questions I had :) she’s amazing!
