3 years Post Looks better then ever Best decision to get them removed!!

WORTH IT
Just thought I would give a update. They still look great. No sagging and perfect small A/B cup naturally. Since getting them out I haven't had Any sensitivity or rash on the side of my breasts so for sure the implants were causing this continued red itchy rash. Nothing since. Love being back to natural me. Wish I had known years ago that removing them I would look so good would have done it so much earlier but better late then never.

Benjamin Gelfant, MD, FRCSC Dr. Gelfant is an incredibly gifted PS. I had 2 BAs over 18yrs and then an explant. All surgeries went really well. The BAs were perfect and I had no issues or complications with look or my surgery. I just finally decided to go back to my smaller sized breasts. With all surgeries I found him very thorough and calm. He is also talented in that my breasts looked great and I had minimal bruising and pain.

If I could look as good as you I’d be so happy
Thanks:) I think its because he did an internal lift with his suturing so there wasn't a lot of sag which is what I was freaked out about
thanks:) I think its super important who your surgeon is, they aren't magicians but I think Dr. Gelfant's skilled at sutures/incisions as they heal super well and are barely visible, he also tried to create an internal lift
just wondering how much did this explant surgery cost at the time?
Hi, It's been a while but I think it was around 7-8k

3 Weeks Post.... I Feel Amazing SO Happy with the new Me:)

Hi Ladies, Just thought I give a quick 3 weeks post surgery update.
I am SO Happy! I just wish I would have done this years ago but I was so freaked out they would be deflated and deformed I waited. Funny thing is that I think they actually look better without the implants in and my clothes fit way better now. I'm back to the gym and feel less of the weight on my chest is so much easier for me to work out now. Only been doing Spin class but will go back to Barre and yoga next week I think. I'm using Mederma scar cream to help heal things up and so far so good. I finally feel good in my own body, and not having to cover up my chest or feel awkward in my tight work out gear is So amazing!!

Congratulations honey. I can see that you are so much happier. ❤
Happy you are healing so well! Do you think this is the final size or do you feel like you still have some swelling?
Hi Thanks:) For sure they are smaller then post surgery. The swellings come down in the past 3 weeks and I think this should be my final size. The shape's the same and all looks pretty good. I'm super happy!
Did it seem dented in a little on top half at first?

Soooooo Happy with my new petite chest :)

First day back at spin class today and feeling great! It was a bit strange though as I could see this curious look on the faces of a few people I see there regularly...I think its pretty obvious going from a 32C to 32A overnight but who knows they might just be thinking hmmmm somethings different about her, maybe a new haircut or she really lost A LOt of weight up top in the past 2 weeks lol. I feel So amazing and happy to be back in my petite body again. I love the results and think they look even better now that they are removed. I actally feel more confident in myself then I did before. Weighed myself and lost 2.5 lbs so i was carrying around 2 lb weights on my chest all these years, I definitely feel lighter. Anyway again encouraging anyone who's worried about the outcome and delaying like I was for years. I'm happier with my body today then I have been in years!

Very happy for you, you look amazing! Nice to know some women are having an easy recovery after explant. Can't wait to get mine out!
You look great, and I'm do happy to best that you feel great!! :)
Hi all, I’m new to this site your stories are helping me out. I feel the same as you ladies I had my implants coming up 11 years as they went empty feeling when I had my children. My PS put 350cc in and I hated them on day 1 cried to the PS saying what have I done!! I thought they would make me happy , I learned to live with them like yourselves I don’t talk about them and get embarrassed people looking at me , like she’s had her boobs done
Hi, I just posted my 3 year update and saw your comment from yrs ago...sounds like the stress and anxiety I went through. I am So much happier and at peace with myself since having them removed. Hopefully you had them removed by now or will at some point soon so you can feel like you again. For me, I feel I look so much better without them. Wishing you the best:)
I’m day4 after my explant and lift. I feel great...just a little more tired than usual. I walked two miles today But did not swing my arms I think that helped my mood. I’m curious how I feel feel when sutures are out. So happy I finally did this. I had implants for 33 years. Three years ago I had them replaced now I’m completely implant free and loving it.
Yeah! Congrats!! So happy to hear your happy:) Honestly I feel the same way. I LOVE having my natural size, no implant, body back. Its like coming back to myself and accepting, loving you I am again. No more hiding or negative inner talk. Plus I really am super happy with the way clothes fit me now.
