1 week post op

Although they are slightly ‘saggier’ than what they used to be, I feel like I have a little more breast tissue now and I’m really loving my new shape ????

1 week post op

1 week post op, so I thought I’d do an update on my experience so far. I had my surgery on a Friday and was back to work (I’m a teacher) on the Monday. I didn’t need my pain medication, not even a regular painkiller like paracetamol of ibuprofen. I was just taking an antibiotic to prevent infection. I’ve had minor discomfort around the incision site but that’s really it! I had my first ‘zinger’ today, which is like a zapping sensation, which I think is just the nerve endings coming back to life? Not painful, just a weird feeling! I feel like my boobs have had minor changes over the past week. I feel like I have slightly more tissue in the centre of my chest, during the first few days this area felt completely flat. I also feel like my skin is tightening, pulling my boobs up a fraction. I also feel like they have ‘fluffed’ a tiny bit, although this could be a bit of swelling. Overall, I’m so happy with my results and I’m really enjoying my natural look. I actually feel slimmer and more in proportion, funnily enough! I’m really happy with my decision to explant and I highly recommend it if this is something you’re considering!

Afters - surgery day

These photos were taken 12 hours after surgery. They do look more defined in these photos than what they do in real life, they seem to droop more and have that slightly ‘sad’ look in person. I seem to have more side boob than I used to, I’m guessing because of gravity and the stretching of my skin/ pocket where the implant used to be and from what I remember, I used to have a bit more upper pole prior to implants, but again gravity haha! I’m happy with the scar placement too, my surgeon hit my crease spot on!
Overall, I’m super happy with how they look so far and I still have a bit of healing to do so things hopefully can only get better!
