Best Plastic Surgeon in Dallas!

I am 54 and had 27 year old bi-lumen silicone breast implants. I lost my mother a three years ago to inflammatory breast cancer so the “Cancer” radar for myself had been amped up a bit. I noticed my left side had what felt like a lump and immediately had a mammogram and MRI and was found to have an intra-capsular rupture.
I waited almost three years to resolve as I was torn about whether to just remove or remove and replace. I met with 3 plastic surgeons all were qualified and seemed perfectly able to perform the surgery but Dr. Pin’s bedside manner and willingness to answer questions was my reason for selecting him. My decision was to remove my implants and not replace. With Dr. Pin’s encouragement I also chose no lift. I have never had children so he felt that I would have a good result without a lift.
I am currently 1 week post op and am extremely happy so far. I have a lot more natural breast than I did when I had my surgery 27 years ago. I am 5’8” approximately 167lbs. I was about 50lbs lighter when I had my augmentation.
I will continue to post my before and after pictures as my healing continues.

For the last 2 days I have been experiencing a lot of fatigue. I think I tried to get back to a full work schedule too fast and am paying for it. I suppose there is a reason they tell you to take it easy.

I was also experiencing a lot of discomfort bordering on pain which was odd because it was the first time since my surgery I had had much pain at all. I think I have discovered the source of discomfort and wanted to share because I didn’t see a lot of posts about this.

I think my nipples are “waking up” and they have become hypersensitive to anything rubbing against them. I was in so much discomfort I started taking Aleve again. I went out today and picked up some silicone nipple covers and WOW what a difference! They keep my nipples from rubbing on my bra and the pain is so much better.
