Planning to Explant

Planning to Explant

I started with no breast tissue and had implants under the muscle 4 years ago and turned out too big.I dont want implants anymore and planning to get an explant but my preop is too small. Is it possible to achieve my wish pic without replacing my implants with smaller ones? I have not had any pregnancies and I am 29 years old. Is the fat graft only way or is it possible to fluff and achieve this with just an explant?

Hi there! I started out pretty much like you and am hoping to schedule my explant as soon as this pandemic allows! I also fear what I will look like post-explant. I hope that I will be able to adapt to a new paradigm of beauty and self-love. You look amazing pre-implant: strong, healthy, and glowing skin.
Hi Sunside! I’m sure you will adapt to your new look, because the amazing thing about explant is feel your natural breasts again and not experience any of the inconveniences that implants may cause. Be confident and happy. We all get nervous and uncertain about our post op results. But as you can see here in this site, everyone is so happy after explant even if they are not thrilled about the recent results. And we need to be patient because it has shown that our breasts will change over time, in about 3-12 months. Good luck to you!
Thank you so much!
Thank you! Im excited to go through the process with you
Thankyou! Im excited to go through this process with you!
Thanks so much for these wonderful words of wisdom!
Me too!! :). When might you schedule? I’m not even going to think about any subsequent procedure at this point. It feels too overwhelming for me. I just want to get them out, let my body recover, and see what happens. Like everyone here is saying, we have to be patient, show ourselves lots of loving kindness, and we might even like the results even with no further procedures, like fat grafting, etc.
Hi there! I believe you will look pretty much like before implants, you’re young and has a decent amount of breast tissue. I’m 10 weeks post surgery and I had less breast tissue than you, I had implants for 30 years and I’m 49 years old. I can’t remember how my breasts were before implants, just knew they were pretty small. I am beyond happy without my implants even though I am completely flat. I also experienced sharp pain in my nipples constantly and this pain is gone! That said, I will suggest to you to remove your implants and give yourself time, experience your new body and then, decide if you really want to add another procedure. You’re young and beautiful and have all your life in front of you. Fat transfer has lots on cons, so research it well! Best of luck to you!
Thank you so much for your support!
So I did just have a life and fat graft, and I love it. I’m only 7.5 post op, but feel great. Good luck on your journey!
It is supposed to say lift not life
Hi! I personally chose no fat transfer because I did not want to deal with a whole other procedure at the same time, more risks, etc., and I figured I could always do it later. I decided I was ok with going back to my pre-implant size or even a little smaller. But if you are 100% sure you want to be bigger than pre-implant, then I can see it makes sense to do it in one procedure rather than undergoing anesthesia and recovery twice. For what it's worth I think your natural pre-implant breasts are beautiful and feminine and so pretty petite! But it's a personal choice, at least you have time now to really think about it and research options so when elective surgeries are ok again you'll be ready to go. :)
Agreed your natural breasts look so elegant and feminine like a ballerina!
