I got my breast implants in 2004. They were fun accessories but I have changed over the course of fifteen years and the implants were causing me to have very intense rib cramps. The cramps in my ribs were so bad that I would be momentarily paralyzed and could not breathe. I could also see rippling on the sides of my breasts.
To those of you who are considering breast implants, I would like to urge you to not get them.
My friends at the time when I got my implants made it sound like getting implants was super easy and not painful at all. They were like "Yeah, you just go to sleep, take some pain pills for a week and then you have a great set of boobs to show off in your bikini." This was not the case for me.
I was in a lot of pain for about six months after receiving the breast implant surgery. I am not at the four-month mark from my breast removal surgery and although the pain has subsided, my breasts hurt.
I asked Dr. Umansky how long it typically takes to completely heal from the surgery. He said that complete healing from surgery typically takes six months to a year.
I know for a fact that plastic surgery is not for me. It's just too painful and I guess I am ok with ageing.
My mind and body feel better as time passes.
If you decide to go the plastic surgery route, Dr. Umansky and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I love the way my natural breasts look and I give Dr. Umansky a million thanks for the excellent work.
