Breast implant removal and lift— I'm a little nervous for sure, but this is something I need to do for myself.
UPDATED FROM shezzy23
All you ladies who are considering removal I agree but mentally prepare
I'd had my implants 12 years, being honest never really liked them thought to myself what have I done to my body. The back of my mind I knew they weren't for life, then about 2 years ago I started to hear all the negative news regarding breast implants. That was it for me I wanted them out read all kinds of reviews geared myself up for smaller boobies . All the ladies saying how good it is to have them out, loving their new look. Well I'm actually struggling with my new look Mentally, I was so shocked at this because I was so excited about being natural, I guess the physical how small they'd be didn't really occur to me . I'm now wishing I'd of got fat transfer at the same time, I'd read a little about this and there where some negatives so I just got the lift. All you ladies who are considering removal I agree but mentally prepare yourself for the new you xx

Breast implant removal and lift
Finally, my turn to write my review, yay!!!About 2 years ago I decided I wanted to explant, I started doing my research into this procedure wishing I had someone to talk to about the procedure and a little advice.
I then stumbled across this fab site and became hooked reading everyone's stories wanting it to be my turn. not sure what I was actually going to do.
Was it just removal, was it removal with fat transfer, was it a lift didn't really want a lift because of the scarring.
Anyway, I have gone with lift haha the one I was very sure I wasn't getting, on speaking with my lovely surgeon who showed me pictures of ladies who had a lift with my skin tone.
I was shocked I couldn't see the scars, so I messaged a lovely lady on RealSelf who had the same procedure as me with the same surgeon. She confirmed he's a great surgeon and the scars were great.
I was booked for January then got a phone call saying they had a cancellation for December I jumped at the chance. I'm a little nervous for sure, but this is something I need to do for myself.
I say to all the ladies out there wondering what to do, go with your gut after all you wouldn't be on this site browsing if it's something you hadn't thought about. Do your research!!

Looking forward to seeing your full review! Especially your progress w/scarring (hopefully v v minimal) w/your lift. I'm thinking of the same - explant but am worried about lift scaring
Hi sorry I didn't see you had commented until now. Thankfully all went well no pain killer ( I'm very surprised as I'm a wimp) I haven't seen anything yet, they put all I can describe is splints kind of plasters right down my breasts with a big clear sticky plaster all over my chest pulling everything down . And also like 2 battery pack things with tubes. I thought they where drains the surgeon say not it's machines that pump the fluid back on the body and as for flattening me he says that's a good thing . I said not for me I look like an ironing board haha hopefully they will plum out fingers crossed.
I was like you also that was my main concern but some of the ladies on here said they can't see their scars, also the surgeon showed me a lady he had done with the same skin tone as mine ( light and slightly freckled) you couldn't see her scars. That's what changed my mind to be honest I didn't want spaniel ears . I will upload before and after picks once these massive bandages are off . Good luck with your decision xx
Hi, I have for extremely so long implants, wants them out but still waiting because I am frightening about to get more scars. The thing is, that I would get big scars although I have a fair tone, the tone is not the measure, but if in past your scars became small, the new will become small too. I hope for you the best, your result, the shape is looking great!
Thank you, I was the same as you very scared of the scarring. As my scars are only 4 weeks old I'm not to sure how they are going to look. What changed my mind is the picture my surgeon showed me, the results of one of the ladies with the same skin tone as me. Google spire Manchester and look at the ladies before and after breast lift pictures. I wish you the best of look with your decision and outcome x
