Everything I was told on how I would heal, look, and more importantly feel, has absolutely been true

Scrolling through Netflix one evening I came across the series, Skin Decision. Impressed and truly moved by the show, I started to think about my own experience many years ago with plastic surgery having a breast augmentation. I contemplated the next few weeks then, one morning thought maybe it’s time for a revision. If I was going to do that however, I would want the advice of someone like Dr. Nazarian. At almost 61 years old in decent shape and health I thought this may be a great time for a little makeover.

I made an appointment for a virtual consultation with Dr. Nazarian which required sending images prior to the appointment - an interesting task to say the least. Our virtual began and I felt immediately comfortable and at ease unlike some doctors you meet for the first time.

Being completely honest, I wasn’t convinced I wanted my implants removed after so many years, but I knew it was time to do something. Dr. Nazarian took her time addressing my questions concerns and I soon realized she had a plan brewing in her mind of what she wanted to do.

We could take your implants out and do a fat transfer to the breasts, she went on to explain. I thought, being larger than I should have been to begin with, maybe a fat transfer would not be enough. So, I asked about a smaller implant “You’re done with implants” she said very assuring and went on to explain why, which I agreed. Like a skillful designer describing a gorgeous outcome of a home makeover, Sheila explained in detail the procedures she saw for me, covering a bigger picture and the best overall outcome.

First a breast revision and a breast lift. A 360 mid-section liposuction and fat transfer to the breasts, a lower face lift (V-Lift) an upper lip lift, remove fat from lower eyelids and laser treatments for skin tightening on the face. That was a bit to digest and certainly not a “little makeover” but after our appointment and having clear communications with her wonderful staff, I felt confident to commit to the plan and schedule the surgery.

There were several pre surgery tests, along with strict pre- and post-diet/supplement regimes which I found very beneficial to stick with and made my recovery way better than it could have been. For longer surgeries like mine the aftercare facility was suggested. I highly recommend it, as the facility, and staff were awesome.

I’m 6 months post-surgery now and can truly say everything I was told on how I would heal, look, and more importantly feel, has absolutely been true. Including the reaction from those who didn’t know I had surgery commenting, “you look so refreshed!

What I want to emphasize more than anything is, Dr. Nazarian is more than a surgeon - she is an artist. And one who’s goal is to enhance the natural beauty we were each given. Sheila, I’m beyond pleased with my little makeover. I still look like me, just better!
