Breast Implant Removal with Lift
After 30 years of having implants, with 4 surgeries to remove and replace due to 3 capsular contractions and 1 rupture incident, I finally made the decision to explant permanently. My last set were silicone along with the Strattice. This was my first time using silicone & I believe my body rejected it from day one, they always felt itchy on the inside border of both sides. Two years later, I developed a horrific pain which felt like I was having a heart attack. Ended up being an accute capsulation with an infection that presented itself on my left inner breast. After 2 rounds of antibiotics the infection didn’t go away & the capsulation got much worse. My surgeon was worried that I wouldn’t be happy with the results due to having very little breast tissue along with scar tissue removal from previous surgeries. I was warned that I could end up looking disfigured, but she promised to make them as pretty as possible. They ended turning out way better than the surgeon had anticipated & I couldn’t be more happy with the results so far : ) 1st photo is day before surgery & after photos are 4 days post op. I wish I would have removed them sooner & saved myself money.
