Implant Removal

ORIGINAL POST

Implant Removal

WORTH IT$1,900
I was always active, running, cycling, swimming and yoga. At 32, I got 325cc silicone implants. I was a 32b before surgery, I hoped to be a full C, after surgery I was a 32DD. The implants were too big, but never having big breasts, I enjoyed the way they 'looked' until I tried to get back to my workout routine. It was impossible. I couldn't run and my pecs seemed to be crushing the implant. I also had a noticeable animation deformity and double bubble that worsened over my recovery. I had a second surgery almost exactly 1 year later to correct the double bubble. I should have removed them then, but I didn't. After having them for 8 years I couldn't take it anymore. They seemed to be getting bigger and more uncomfortable. They looked great, but I wasn't able to continue running and working out as I wanted. I started to gain weight and feel depressed. I didn't want to wait another 30 years to go through another surgery. I'm still young and knew my chances of an easy recovery were higher. I also had a lot of joint pain and wondered if the implants had something to do with it.

I searched and searched for a doctor with experience performing implant removal. I contacted and met with many doctors, until I found Dr. Gregory Park. I was concerned about my double bubble and animation deformity remaining after surgery. Dr. Park was upfront and honest about my results. He couldn't promise it would resolve and I appreciated him not promising me something he couldn't deliver. His bedside manner has been UNMATCHED by any other plastic surgeon I've met and I've met with and/or called over 10 surgeons in my search. I even flew from CA to Seattle to meet with a Doctor before I decided on Dr. Park. When I called his office he actually talked to me on the phone and answered all of my questions. Few doctors do this.

He suggested if I wanted them removed I could do so under a local and probably wouldn't need a lift. I was a little afraid, but his staff is so kind and caring and held my hand every step of the way. It felt so right, so I did it. It was the best experience. His prices are incredibly reasonable, which made this a reality for me. Dr. Park is genuine, kind, sensitive, honest, and doesn't rush you in and out of the office. He saw me in the lobby during my first visit and introduced himself to me. So refreshing! The surgery was easy and about an hour long. They numb the incision area and take them out. I was awake for the entire procedure and Dr. Park and his staff talked me through every step. I didn't even need pain medication afterwards. My incisions were sore, but the pain was nothing compared to getting them in. I emailed the office 3 days after surgery about one of my incisions and Dr. Park emailed me back right away and on a Sunday!

I just had my one month post op and I'm doing great, no regrets! I feel amazing and after just a month my breasts are almost back to their original size. I'm going to be 40 years old and they don't look like they did 20 years ago but ladies...that's normal! I love my body and I wish I didn't have to gain two scars to prove to myself I'm beautiful without implants, but that's life!

If you've wanted to get your implants removed, don't wait. Do it!!! And call Dr. Gregory Park in Oceanside, California.

Ps. I don't plan on getting a lift, instead I plan to start working out again! Can't wait!!!

I am with you , I don't think you need a lift. I am 6 months post op and glad I didn't rush into a lift. So happy you are free of the poisonous sacks!
Wow. My story and reasons for wanting to explant are so similar to yours. Thank you for your post and pictures. I think your results could be very similar to what I can expect.
After this amount of time, how have you found the recovery - any problems with not having the capsules removed?
