my impant saga, removal, reconstruction fund
WORTH IT$15,000
Background:After nearly dying in a car accident, I was implanted with reconstructive mesh and breast implants, after having several facial reconstruction and bone fusing surgeries. Over the years my health has seriously declined, I have come to find it's from the materials used to reconstruct me, the implants disintegrated in my body and were poisoning me to death. My Declining Health:I was admitted to Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angles July 2017. The reason for my declining health was discovered by a nurse, who asked if I’d had an MRI. Turns out the implants had disintegrated inside my chest cavity spewing silicone into a free-floating toxic sludge dump of 42 deadly chemical into my body. It was now floating around in my bloodstream, filling up my entire lymph system over 8 years. The silicone disintegrated my breast muscle, tissue and fat becoming necrotic. I also had a serious bacterial infection and mold growth inside my chest. I was being poisoned from the inside out, the high fever, rashes, the entire spectrum of symptoms were from these toxic bags of chemical sludge rotting inside and slowly killing me.Surgical Story Thus Far:I was scheduled for surgical removal immediately, the surgeon removed as much of the sludge and disintegrated implant shells form my chest cavity as possible. In surgery I lost all the muscle, fat, tissue, in my right breast and partial in my left. The surgeon had to rinse out my chest cavity out twice to clear the bacterial infection and mold growth. I experienced the most horrible, burning, tearing pain of my life and my drains had to remain inside me for a month till they healed into my skin, to remove all infected fluid, blood and excess material not caught in surgery. I was sent to hyperbaric oxygen to aid in my healing and it worked miracles but the ($3000) was also not covered by insurance, nor will it be for my 3 reconstructive surgeries up coming. The surgeon was unable to do a muscle, fat and tissue transfer at the time of surgery due to the amount of blood vessel loss. He was felt any grafts or transfers would fail and I could lose more tissue from the lack of blood flow. Now in 2020 im ready to start the reconstructive process.Following Up Costs:The funds are for a full muscle transfer with fat to 1 breast & 2 follow up fat transfers with an interior muscle lift. ($30K) in total not to mention hyperbaric oxygen after each surgery, IV high does vitamin C & antioxidants to heal and prevent infections (my immune system is gone from silicon filling up all my lymph nodes) In-fared laser treatments and lymphatic drainage. The medical debt from my 1st surgery is now ($18K) with 24% interest.
