When I realized I had Breast Implant Illness and needed my implants removed, I looked for a plastic surgeon who not only could perform the surgery well, but also was sympathetic to the situation and agreed that getting an explant could help me. Dr. Hess was that surgeon. He was understanding, friendly, and knowledgable. He also saw the urgency and reserved an OR immediately (I called for a consult on a Wednesday, he got me in the next day for a consult, and I had the surgery on the next Monday). Throughout my healing process, he was available for any questions I had and I was able to go in and see him if necessary. I am now 3 months post op, feeling great, and very grateful for Dr. Hess and his team!

Hi. I also have BII n no Dr will touch me with a ten foot pole. I’ve had cellulitis numerous times, I’m in my 4 th set of implants . Had a necrotized nipple last operation cuz my skin is so thin n I have fibromyalgia, Raynaud’s n the list goes on n on. Can you please please email me so I can show u pics of my infections n hopefully talk to you. I’ve been suffering for years n the past 2 years my health is rapidly declining:( nobody will help me.
