The girls are coming out!

I got my implants on a whim 22 years ago after breaking up with a toxic guy. He always liked big boobs and I wouldn’t get them go him. So after we broke p I convinced myself I was doing it for ME. I was a 36C before BA and was a 36D after. They were always larger than I wanted them. My C cup was deflated and I jut wanted a fuller C. Anyway, after much research I’ve decided to just explant. See what I have left now that I’m a healthy 145lbs and in a few months do a Breast lift if needed. This way the body has a chance to give you some breast tissue back and the lift will be less invasive if I decide I even need one. Furthermore I’ve had back and neck issues for 15 years and they have gotten worse in the last few years since h omg my daughter at 46. She’s 2 1/2 and I want to be able to stay active with her for a long long time. I breastfed for about 12 weeks as it didn’t go so well. When I was breastfeeding my cup size was an H!!! I didn’t even know they went that high. So we will see how the girls have held up through all this! Pun intended.

Your story sounds so similar to mine that I thought I was reading my own story. I also had horrible back and neck problems after getting implants and had to have several back surgeries. I had my implants removed two months ago and I feel so much better. I can totally relate to the "huge load off" . Good luck in your healing. I wish you the best.

Thanks so much peach4216. I’m so glad they are out. I’ll post more pics. The fluff fairy has not come yet so I’m trying to ignore them for now.

I waited a week because I was so nervous to look. I am happy with the results. I look very similar to my sister who never had implants. This site helped me so much to know what to expect and ease my nerves. I am eight weeks out and I am so glad I did it. I feel so much better than I did before its amazing.

How long did it take before you started to fluff up?

They started to "fluff" after about 6 weeks. They are much smaller than they were before the explant. I was an E and went to a large C. The upper "pole" isn't as full, but they look more natural and I am very happy with the outcome. The main benefit for me is the pain in my back/neck is gone. I had the implants put in 2007, since then I had to have two major back surgeries and I believe they are related to the implants. I feel like my new smaller breasts make me look and feel younger . My doctor told me when I had the surgery that I could do a lift then or later if I wanted to. I decided to wait to see how I felt a few months after the explant. I am happy with the outcome and have decided not to do the lift.

All this helps Me so much. Thank you For sharing. I believe my Neck disc degeneration is from my implants as well. Just the posture they caused put strain on the joints. I’m going to do stem cells to regrow the lost cartilage. But I can wait a few years now. I was a C cup before. But that was 22 years and 30 lbs ago so I’m wondering if I will till have that. I’d be so happy with my before implant boobs now.

I did not have neck/back problems until after the implants. Then in 2010 it got so bad that I had to have two disc replaced in my neck and a titanium plate put in to stabilize it. Last year I had to have the same thing done to my lumbar and that was the last straw for me. I decided to have the explant, but waited a year to recover from the last back surgery. Good news is that I immediately had relief of my chronic neck/back issues after the explant. I hope you have the same relief I have experienced. I have heard good things about the stem cell injections from friends who have tried them.

Did you have a capsulectomy? Having mine out Thursday and doc does not think that is necessary. Not having problems, just done with them!

No capsulectomy. And no drains. Was really super easy. I chose to get general anesthesia tho. Even tho they look terrible right now I’m still glad I did it I feel lighter and stronger already
