WORTH IT
I have scheduled my surgery for Sep 24, 2019. I'll be having my implants removed, an internal and external lift, fat grafting, and a Lotus implants (proprietary to Dr. Rehnke).
Original Implants w/Lift, lollipop incision: 09/2007
Revision Implant/Lift, lollipop: 12/2009
Currently have 425CC Natrelle saline implants, style 20. While I'm happy with the size, over the years I have developed pretty intense animation deformity. I lift weights and I'm very active, and it causes obvious distortion when I flex. I'm also having pain, sometimes even at rest. I believe both sides are experiencing contracture, but the right side in particular is harder and shifting higher/towards the center. I'm ready to get them out so I can be active and comfortable again.
I didn't want to go from where I am now to nothing, so I found a doctor that has shown excellent results with implant removal, fat grafting, and lifts. Dr. Rehnke also recommended the Lotus implant (slowly-biodegradable mesh implant that will provide some upper pole fullness, which is his own creation. Since this isn't something widely known, I'd refer you to his office for more information about that.
Just getting my initial info out here, including current pictures and pre implant pictures. If I had known better in my early 20's I would have just gotten a lift, but the doctor talked me into implants at the time. I was a 34D before my first surgery, and a 34DD now. My body composition has changed since my early 20's (for the better), so I'm much leaner. Currently my underbust measures 29", and my bust measures 36". I told the Dr. he can do lipo from wherever he thinks is best as lipo isn't something I would have done otherwise.
Excited, just going to stay healthy and keep in shape leading up to surgery!

Day 3 Post Op Update
chelsreneeSeptember 27, 2019
So surgery was on Tuesday, it's now Friday. The first two days were pretty miserable, a lot more pain than what I expected. I've been moving around well today though. He took fat from my inner/front thighs. It was today before I could get my compression leggings down by myself (thank god for my sister, who's also a nurse, taking care of me). I'll get some photos posted in the next couple days tracking progress. So far so good, especially for the stage I'm at.
I did want to add a correction to my initial post. My implants were silicone, not saline. Also, I did a lot of research before going with the Lotus mesh implant with Dr. Renhke, and I'm very comfortable with that decision. Its something he is pioneering for this particular use, but the biodegradable mesh has long been used in the medical world and Dr. Rehnke has years of experience with it. I'll continue to post information over time as they settle into my body.

I think I've got it explained in one of my earlier posts (if you want more detail, but it's basically a biodegradable mesh implant that the doctor made by hand in the surgical room. It'll dissolve over the first 3 or so years, and my breast tissue and far grafting essentially grow into it.

Day 4 Pics
chelsreneeSeptember 28, 2019
So uploaded two pics from today 9/28/18, 4 days after surgery. Just the breasts for now, I'll get some lipo pics up next week sometime. I also added measurements the morning before surgery and now. I'm actually an inch larger because of all the swelling, but I anticipate that to go down quite a bit. I'm still taking it easy and moving slow, but mostly self-sufficient now. Let me know if you have any questions! This is still the "ugly" phase, so I don't expect them to look aesthetically pleasing yet. Happy with them for where they are in the process though!
