WORTH IT
Hi guys!!!!
Soooo I done a 1 week post explant review & this is my 2 week + 3 days review. Sooooooo much change over just another week. You can view these changes in my photos. Changes to breasts: Skin has tightened more, tissues has visibly plumped & fluffed out more. They feel firmer & seem and feel bigger from the fluffing. I’m super happy with them so far. Scars: Scars have healed more and are less tight, I can tell they are going to heal beautifully & sit nicely under my breast fold. Once I can massage them with oil that will help too. Scars are are pain free. I have some minor tenderness if I poke my breasts because they still healing inside but otherwise no pain. Mental health/symptoms:Mental health is amazing I’m just sooooo happy to be me again I love my boobs, I have more confidence now because of the way I perceive myself & I just love my boobs - how they have healed & just that they are all mine, I love that they are small and soft. There are so many positives!!! This is the best decision I have ever made I’m so happy I don’t have a single regret removing the implants. I hope this helps you see the difference. Its still early days I will next post a 1 month update then continue monthly for you ladies.

Explant; so how do they look?
Hi guys :)
So it has been 1 week post explant, I had my bandages/plasters removed from incision areas & was told I can now bathe. Therefore I could remove compression bra & take photos. I am sharing them purely with hope that my photos/journey can/will help any of you out there, as many women’s photos & stories on real self really helped me. so my journey & photos will all be as real and raw as possible x
So some updates :
Physical:Healing/recovery.....super easy, minimal pain - I didn’t take any pain medication. In comparison to getting implants recovery is soooooo much easier. Slept comfortably no problems. Been out & about no problems at all.
Mental health... so far so good. I feel great!! I’m happy :) have had no down days or feelings of depression or any anxiety at all. I haven’t cried or anything I genuinely just feel relieved and so happy I have my own body back & im me again
Results...photos uploaded!! I’m super happy I’m just so relieved they are not deformed as I imagined. I think they are kind of similar to before implants considering they are only 7 days post explant & have a lot more healing to do. I’m so happy to have small breasts again & I love them because their all mine. When I push them together I also have some cleavage so excited to buy new bras too X
Think that’s all there is to say. If anyone wants to ask further questions I have not covered please feel free. I can upload extra photos if needed too. I will upload photos monthly to show any changes & upload photos of in bras soon. I remember crying & feeling so lonely & trapped before my explant searching real self every day for someones story I could relate to so anyone who is feeling as I was I really hope my updates help you, you are not on your own no matter what you do you are beautiful xxxxx

OMG THEY'RE AMAZING, looks to be no difference from before at all! You must be so pleased!
Aww Thankyou greedygoat xx I am sooooo pleased & relieved. They are very similar to before implants with some minor difference. Surgeon said they take 6 months to fully heal from explant - tissues to fluff, skin to fully retract, muscle to repair etc. soo they will change & improve some more, but yes considering 1 week out they have done really well I’m just so relieved x How are you? Where are you at now with your journey ? Hope you are ok x

Explant over - I done it
Hi ladies,
So I had my explant yesterday. i was beyond scared but I was so brave & stayed strong. The waiting around & walking into theatre was the worst part. But then before I knew it I was awake. I was so relieved it was all over I feel like me again & im so happy to be able to touch my own chest again!! I’m so happy they are out of my body. I will put pictures soon I’m wrapped up at the moment & want to focus on healing first - pain is no where near as bad as getting implants put in. I have seen my breasts down my compression bra & considering they have been through surgery they look great - they are not dis formed, wrinkly or dented pretty similar to before BA!!! I can’t wait to see how much more they improve over time x

Thanks for sharing how you got on yesterday! I'm so pleased for you - keep us updated as you heal :)
Congratulations!!!
I’m sitting in exactly same boat as you. I’m 11 months after BA but I want these implants out for the EXACT SAME REASONS AS YOU! What size implants did you have ? Please share your photos . I’m also scared . I don’t know if I’m crazy or not . Friends say I must wait I will get used to the implants ... They say I will feel more depressed afterwards . Please help .
Hi punkrat1...I’m so happy you have found me then it’s nice to find someone who’s situation is similar to yours so I hope I can help you x I’m sorry to hear you have experienced the same mental health reasons as I did it’s awful I know !!!
My implants were 325CC under muscle.
I have shared my before BA & post BA photos I will also share photos of how they looking now after this weekend as that’s when I get the plasters off etc & I’ll be able to take clear photos so keep checking my review for update on that x
I was super scared to explant the most scared iv ever been about anything in my life, purely because of worrying about them looking normal after - but honestly they look great !!! No deformity, no wrinkling, no dents !!! they are just like before BA. & they are fresh out of surgery so over the next few weeks they will improve even more. I was so relieved to see that they looked absolutely fine & I am so relieved to have my own body back & touch my own chest again - it feels amazing!! I cried with relief after explant. Zero regrets so far I’m so grateful & happy I stuck to my gut instincts I love my boobs because they are all mine now x
Everyone said I needed to wait & that I would grow to love them but they were wrong ... yes I loved the look of them they looked perfect visually but they didn’t feel right they were not ok for my body I just could feel it. 11 months down the line I knew i hadn’t changed my mind I wanted my life back i wanted to be me again.
I worried I might feel depressed after explant too seeing my damaged breasts but they are not damaged lol & hand on heart it’s been 3 days iv not felt an ounce of depression, iv not cried at all & I’m just so happy Iv done it !!!
The longer they are in the more difficult explant becomes as capsules thicken & calcify meaning more intrusive surgery & skin stretches more & therefore more breast tissue is lost & results can be worse. Having them in only 11 months gives our situation a great benefit!
I hope this helps you any thing else you want to know I’m here for you x
Hi, I went through the same thing 18 years ago when I had my first implants then again 8 years ago I had them reduced. Just removed them 3 weeks ago and I love them. Haven't been this happy in years. So don't hesitate get them out now I only wish I would have removed mine 18 years ago but better late then never. Good luck:)
hoorayyyy! really happy for you to read this, I've been keeping an eye out for the update :D!!
You're so lucky, I know for sure I'll have some wrinkling when it comes to having mine done as my skin is like tissue and appeared wrinkled at times before due to stretch marks, but I'm prepared for anything! I just want a date now!! Have you found it more comfortable pain and recovery wise etc. than it was having them put in?
Hey greeedygoat! Aww Thankyou x I had plasters removed today & can bathe tonight so I’ll upload photos likely tomorrow :)
I was prepared for the worst but pleasantly surprised surgeon said give it 6 months the tissue will fluff more so hoping they just get better & better.
Pain wise it is completely opposite to implant, implants for me pain was horrific!!! explant literally minimal pain, iv taken no pain medication at all & I was out the next day with my mum browsing the shops & back at work & driving 4 days after explant. Iv felt great x So yeah dont worry about the pain unless you have capsular contracture or other problems then healing / pain maybe different I guess but for me this is ho it has been.
oh AMAZING, so pleased for you!! The driving part is my biggest worry, I don't want too long off work! Oh and the gym! With implants I still struggled to put my coat on until around 6 weeks, it was awful. I do have capsular contracture though.
Hi greedygoat!! Thankyou x yep same when I had implants I was in severe pain, I literally couldn’t walk for 2 weeks my brother had to take my little boy to school for 2 weeks, couldn’t get dressed anything it was so bad it took me about 6 weeks to be pain free so snap sister!! Yes see I don’t know if it may be different with having capsular contracture pain / healing wise...what does your surgeon say? Hopefully it won’t be - I’m sure you will be ok :) xx
Hi Hope you are doing well. I'm in a very similar situation, but I've only had my implants for 2 months and I honestly want them out asap. Did your PS remove the capsule? My suggested I didn't, but I'm so confused. Thank you I'm advanced for your time
Hi JHernandez28 I’m doing great Thankyou :) x I was the same when I had mine in only 2 months I wanted them out immediately but was told to wait & give it some time, not to rush into a big decision so quickly...so I did but it only got worse for me. PS did not remove capsule due to them not being in for long enough to form a thick calcified layer, capsule was so thin & it will disintegrate due to being minimal ... if implants had been in longer with thick capsules that would then contain lots of chemical build up he said yes you would need full capsulectomy for sure. So don’t worry lucky you won’t need one...capsulectomy is a longer trickier procedure & can damage your own breast tissue from the scraping .... you don’t need lots of scraping they haven’t been in long enough :) x I hope this helps this is just what my surgeon told me & also what I have learnt from independent research on the topic, I’m no professional or saying that’s 100% correct lol but just what I have been told by my surgeon (a professional lol) & research Iv done x I hope this helps your confusion a little x & your welcome & questions or support I’m here I’ll always reply & help best I can if I can help your journey I will [RS bleep]
so. you don't remove your capsula? my surgeon told me he would only take away capsula under glands but leave the part above muscle

I asked my PS to remove all capsule, they made foto for me, not so sure they have removed all capsule or partial.
explant is definitely right to do.
hope everything goes well for all.of us.
I haven't seen my breast since explant.
consult PS, just make sure capsule should be removed total or partial.
go ahead for it.
implants are not save, explant is to.save your life and have health and body back. will be with you
best wishes to you
hope we are all.doing well.
I think.I will.post my experience afterwards.
will take some photo week by week.
I do feel I should share my story to help other people to get rid of implants and save our lives.
it is not.true that implants are.save, they cause cancer though it's rare case.
doctors shouldn't deny the truth.
