Explant surgery DONE!

WORTH IT$14,000
I am officially done with my explant and lift surgery. Thought I would share my journey for anyone still on the fence about getting it done.
Back in 2012 I was newly finished nursing my second child. We were taking a break from having more children so I decided to get implants to help get more volume. I was always a 34C before kids and after a very deflated 34B. I was talked into getting 550cc silicone under the muscle to prevent a lift. I liked them at first, I was a 34D. But after they fluffed I was a 34DD. Kind of big and I started not liking them. Within 6 months of getting the implants, I gained 10 lbs. didn’t change my diet and I was still in my 20’s. A few years later I wanted the implants out as i was starting to have some pain in them but I didn’t want them back in, then I got pregnant with my third. I knew I wanted one more so I waited. After breastfeeding and nursing my boobs were ginormous. Maybe a E/F, depending on the brand. So between the size and the pain, I wanted them out sooner than later. I talked to a couple of surgeons and they said I needed to be done nursing to book a consult. So I quit nursing my last baby and booked an appointment with Dr. Chun. I called in November and my consult was in January. I only consulted with him because he only explanted and I did NOT want to get talked into getting new ones. He agreed I needed a lift and my surgery was booked for December 2019. A couple months later I got a call to have it moved to August 20th. I then put myself on the last minute list since I’m kind of local. I finally got that last call for Wednesday, June 5th!!! The day of the surgery I was so nervous i felt i could almost pass out haha. Dr. Chun kept telling me I would be okay. The staff at the surgery center were amazing! I had a nurse who was filling in that day and she was still great. Surgery took a little longer as my muscles were detached on both sides. I woke up feeling pretty good, sore, but not too bad. I took 1 Tylenol the whole time! I’m now 2 weeks post op and I have felt amazing everyday. More energy already and the acne that was on my face for 3 straight months is gone too! I know the price is a little steep, but it was VERY important to me to go to THE best and I feel Dr Chun is. He gets the entire capsule out and his incisions are meticulous. Very happy with my decision.

They look amazing! It’s time for mine to come out as well. What was the price without the lift?

Thank you! I think the price without lift was around $9,000. But I HIGHLY recommend him as he no longer puts in implants. Only takes them out. Plus he has such a great success rate in the surgery itself

What type of pain medication did he prescribe?

He puts some stuff in the in during surgery. But before surgery you put on a nausea patch and take Celebrex. He also prescribed Norco, I believe but I took 1 Tylenol the day after surgery and that was it the entire time

Thanks. I am hoping to take mine out and be back to now I used to feel: energized, motivated and I could walk without pain. Is that what happens?
Congratulations! I'm so happy you are loving the results so far!
