WORTH IT
I’m not sure if my after pic uploaded earlier so I’m going to try this again. I’m post op Day 3 and officially off all narcotics as of today. Just Tylenol and ibuprofen as needed. My appetite isn’t that great and I’m nauseous but I feel so happy with my choice to explant. I am looking forward to feeling like my old self again and getting some energy back.

Post Op Day 2 pic
Here are some after surgery pictures. I am so pleased with my results and my only regret is not doing this sooner! I am looking forward to recovering and enjoying this summer with my family. Right now I have two sports bras on for compression and it feels really good to have support and slight pressure on them.

Post Op Day 2! Dr Umansky is the BEST!
Just wanted to post a quick update before I try to hop in the shower! Surgery was completed on Monday and I’ve been laying low ever since. The recovery is much better than getting implants in but I am still pretty uncomfortable although I know it’s just temporary :) I didn’t end up having drains placed so that was the best surprise! My neck and shoulder pain has improved so much! Also, the weirdest thing happened and my eyes look so clear (I didn’t even realize they weren’t clear until I looked in the mirror after). I am trying so hard to wean off pain meds and only taking the strong ones sparingly. I was cleared to start ibuprofen and that has helped so much! The surgeon was able to safely get 99% of the capsule out and he cauterized the little piece that couldn’t be removed. I am absolutely LOVING the new look! The lift was totally the right decision for me. They look young and perky and he helped even out asymmetry! I still have some breast tissue left! I might be a B cup but I don’t care either way if it’s an A or B. I am so happy with my results so far and have not once regretted this decision. If you are looking for a kind, talented, and highly skilled surgeon don’t hesitate to go see Dr. Umansky and his phenomenal team. Shout out to his sweet medical assistant and his amazing post op nurse. These two women are truly angels!!! I am so grateful for everything this office has done for me.
