Thank You Dr Dhaval Patel for Giving Me my Life Back and More Beautiful Breasts Than I Could Imagine!!!
WORTH IT
I've had quite the journey. It felt hopeless for so long. Now I have my health and life back because of Dr. Dhaval Patel.
A few years back the same questions about my body and overall health status began circling my mind: what is happening to my body? Is it my genetics? Are the poor choices from my youth catching up? Am I just getting old? Is this all in my head? I had been experiencing symptoms that I wanted to get clarification on whether they are related to my genetics or from something else? It had never crossed my mind that my breast implants could have anything to do with my health issues. After reviewing my family health history, my grandmother had Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and my mother has Psoriatic Arthritis. At the age of 44, I was diagnosed with RA & was previously told I was perimenopausal. With that, my symptoms of weight gain, chronic join pain, decreased energy, break outs of hives, etc. could be easily ruled out with my RA, age & hormones. These symptoms heightened to the point of doing daily activities such as brushing my hair or getting into my car. I have been thrown many curve balls in my life, but I’m usually able to brush myself off and jump back in, but this time was different. It felt like there was lead in my bones and fog in my brain.
After internet browsing & discussion with a few women, I was introduced to the topic of Breast Implant Related Illness (BII) and I was shocked to hear their stories. Many of their symptoms were very closely, nearly mirrored to mine, regardless of past medical history, with the common denominator of getting breast implants. Although I was happy with the look of my breast implants & did not want to let them go, I felt that my overall well being and being myself again weighed heavier. When I talked to my primary doctor, she was not convinced my health issues were related to my breast implants. Then I met Dr. Patel and his staff. I finally felt that there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
I decided on an enblock capsulectomy (removal of implant and entire capsule) & breast lift with fat transfer. First of all, my breasts look better then they did with implants. Dr. Patel really is an artist! Immediately after surgery other people noticed a difference in my skin. It's been a little over a month and my symptoms have continued to improve. The brain fog is lifting. My joint pain has decreased and I have lost 10 lbs. I recognise myself again. I can not thank Dr. Patel and his supportive staff enough! There are no words that adequately express my gratitude to Dr Patel for giving me my life back!!
