Having this done and posting it has not been easy. Dr Cassileth’s pre-op literature warns that loved ones might not actually be as supportive as you would like or need them to be, and that was the case for me as my partner was not too happy about losing every guy’s dream bosom. But I remain thrilled, my partner finally realizes this was best for both of us, and the scars will fade to white. Unexpectedly, a chronic inflammatory health issue disabling me for years has vanished and Dr confirms she believes breast implant illness is REAL. Her experience is that those who have the least investment in being ill are those who seem to benefit the most.

Every other surgeon I consulted wanted to use implants to improve shape after surgery— Dr Cassileth was confident she could work with my breast tissue and, as you can see, she did a superb job, (no implants!.) Dr C is compassionate, reassuring, incredibly accomplished and has an unparalleled CV; and everyone on the entire practice makes your experience a pleasure, even with the soreness and angst you might experience as a normal part of such a big decision and procedure.
